Okay actually no. Theory time.
The wire Toilet stole that got added to Mephone after their visit to Meeple in episode 8 was in a box had the creation feature marked on it. We KNOW that this was when AE had a solid plan for the Twist, and we don't see Mephone use the creation feature until AFTER this episode... except in episode 13, in the flashbacks...
And in episode 16, Suitcase mentions the wire again
I'm not being delusional, they've set this up. That wire is going to be important in some way in the coming episodes. Maybe Cobs removed it after mephone made the contestants, and removed his memories of their creation alongside it. Maybe mephone will use it to bring the deleted contestants back to life. I don't know, but it's going to be relevant somehow
