I don't know, and plainly, I don't care. It's not my job to help them form their morals and it's not my job to be family friendly. it's the parents' job to not allow their child to see dark fiction if they're going to believe that incest is okay after reading fanfics.

I don't care. that is out of my control, once again. AUs and movies will also sometimes not directly tell you that murder is bad, does that validate any other murderers? no? that's what I thought. imagine, you were exposed to porn at a young age, would you blame the pornstar for allowing you to see that despite them being on their own website for their specific shit? no, you'd blame whoever allowed you to see that, either by neglecting you or forcing you to watch it. so why is it the writer's fault if a child reads a darkship fanfic?
