KHADYAT PAAD >>>>> ANY OTHER INSULT
The Marathi urge to say, Khaddyat jaa instead of bhad mai ja is so real
Quotes from dead poets society that I love
Carpe Diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary.
We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.
I Stand Upon My Desk To Remind Myself That We Must Constantly Look At Things In A Different Way.
Just when you think you know something, you have to look at it in another way. Even though it may seem silly or wrong, you must try.
You must strive to find your own voice because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are going to find it all.
But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'twas always thus and always thus will be.
Now, we all have a great need for acceptance. But you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go, "That's baaaaad." Robert Frost said, "Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
We were romantics. We didn’t just read poetry, we let it drip from our tongues like honey. Spirits soared, women swooned, and gods were created, gentleman. Not a bad way to spend an evening, eh?
This is a battle, a war, and the casualties could be your hearts and souls.
No, I've been calm all my life! If I don't do something, it's gonna kill me.
Sucking the marrow out of life doesn't mean choking on the bone.
The only way to conquer death is to live every single day to the fullest.
It's not the idea of death that frightens us, but the notion that we aren't living our lives to the fullest.
I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.
No matter where you go, you're dealing with yourself.
