hiii!! its the keumdong request anon again lol- im a bit scared i might regret it but 14 + keumdong? sorry again if this is a trouble to write :(((

aww, it was no problem at all, in fact, thank you for the request! again so sorry it’s shorter than normal BUT I’ve wanted to write something like this for so long, and I finally got to use it with this prompt! so I hope you like how it turned out and I hope you don’t regret it lol!

14. you share a soft moment together.

[3:19 a.m.] one of the great things about summer was that there was nothing to do. meaning, you could sleep whenever you wanted to and wake up whenever you wanted to. you didn’t have a problem, and your boyfriend donghyun certainly didn’t either. this was maybe your second or third all-nighter in the entirety of your summers, so far. the funny thing is you’re not even staying up for a reason, you’re awake for the sake of being awake. right now, you and donghyun are sitting in your balcony, cuddled up in blankets, and passing a bottle of beer back and forth. you watch the stars glisten and shine in all their glory in the navy sky. “look at those up there, I think it’s an ursa minor, right donghyun?” shuffling closer to you, you feel donghyun’s breaths by your ear and the tiny hairs on the back of your neck stand up. “that one? yeah, I think you’re right.” you’re not sure if the warmth that curdles within you is from the alcohol or the fleece blanket, but it leads you to rest your head on donghyun’s shoulder and peer at him through your lashes. you lean up a little and place a series of small pecks on his jaw. “that tickles,” donghyun giggles out. and then you find a moment of silence, but it’s not uncomfortable; it’s quite the opposite, actually. the cicadas and crickets are distant, but you both mainly bask in the peace and serenity that brings calming heartbeats along with it.

suddenly, donghyun shifts a bit before standing up. “where are you going?” you look up at him and hold his pant leg. smiling cutely, he says, “be right back, hang tight.” he runs into your apartment for a second, before returning with his bluetooth speaker and his phone. you blink up at him, confused by what he’s doing when you hear the piano intro of louis armstrong’s ‘la vie en rose’. he bows gracefully and offers his hand. “may I have this dance?” the summer night breeze plays with the ends of your hair as you take donghyun’s outstretched hand, and get up. “hold me close and hold me fast, the magic spell you cast, this is la vie en rose,” louis armstrong’s voice blares through the speaker. donghyun’s hand rests on your hip and part of your shirt is raised, so you feel the calloused surface of his palm on your exposed skin. you intertwine your hands around donghyun’s neck, decreasing the distance between your bodies as you sway to the music. “this is romantic, isn’t it?” donghyun pecks your nose, and winks, “of course, whose idea was this after all?” a small push to his chest makes him cry out in mock pain, and you both laugh at the situation you’ve played out. you then rest your head on his chest and close your eyes; donghyun’s hand moves to hold your head against him like it’s made of china. “donghyun?” he hums bach in response and you move your head and give him a sleepy smile, and he swears, his heart could burst out of his chest right then and there. “I love you.” he cups your face with a hand and admires you in all your beauty, before whispering, “I love you more.”

7 + kang minhee? :)

hiii thanks for the request! I adore minhee, he’s such a fuzzball lol! I hope you enjoy the read

7. someone messed up and gave you something that belongs to him.

[12:23 p.m.] when people asked you what your favorite season was, your answer had always been the same for as long as you can remember: it’s autumn. something about the leaves falling and the smell of cinnamon sugar and pumpkin in the air brought its own weirdly comforting warmth. you loved that the sun would be out and the temperature would be in the high 60s. you loved that you could wear sweaters and cardigans literally all day. you loved that you could come home after a long day and fix yourself a mug of hot cocoa, and your feet could be swaddled in fuzzy socks. you just love autumn, okay? one great thing that came with the season of autumn is the endless cravings you have for pumpkin spice mochas. that’s why you usually found yourself in line at your favorite cafe almost every three or four days, lining up to get one of these beverages in your hands. it’s been your fifth or sixth time here, so when the baristas see you, they wave and ask you about your day. you’ve become friends with them, and it hasn’t even been a month of coming here. you reach the front of the line and see a new face behind the register. he looks a little younger, maybe by two or three years. your eyes go to his name tag, where the name “jinwoo” is neatly visible. “hi, what can I get for you today?” you smile at the contrasting voice coming from him. “hi, can I get a small pumpkin spice mocha, please?” he rings it up and asks for your payment. you give him the exact change and he grins, “it’ll be ready shortly.”

and so you make your way to the other end of the counter and one of your barista friends, joy pops in from the back to say hi. “yeah, we’re needing more help, so we decided to open up our application to college freshmen, too. the kid was so sweet in his interview, that’s what the manager said, too.” you pout at her words. “he’s so tiny, I wanna protect him,” and joy laughs at your words. you hear, “y/n!” and joy passes your drink over to you before saying, “I’ve gotta head back over and help there, I’ll see you later.” you wave goodbye to her and take a seat. the steam is piping out from the opening on the lid, and you take a sip. something tastes…different. it’s not the usual taste of pumpkin you’re getting. it’s a little more… like you just brushed your teeth. take a sip again, and when you figure out what it is, you pucker your lips a little. it’s peppermint: of course, it is, it’s overpowering and minty. you’ve just received a peppermint mocha. you check on the cup at lo and behold, your name is written on the cup. “huh.” you get up and head back towards the counter. joy is just ringing up a customer’s order when she sees you approach the counter, she’s a little concerned. normally, you take your coffee, sit down and finish it before bidding your farewells and leaving the cafe. she comes up to you and you tell her, “I didn’t order this.” joy’s eyebrows shoot up and she asks, “who took your order?” she asks, examining the cup and the hurried “peppermint mocha” scribbled down on the side of the cup. “I think the new boy, but don’t scold him or anything.” joy seems hesitant at your advice, but sighs and nods. “jinwoo, can you come here please?” and in the time jinwoo takes to come over, someone else has approached the counter. he wore a black hat that covered tufts of his blonde hair. he was slender and tall and a small pout settled on his thin lips. “I think you gave me the wrong drink.” his gentle voice rings as he tells joy. her gaze shifts between your cup and his, and you can see the gears shifting in her head. jinwoo comes along, and joy asks him if he mixed yours and the boy’s drinks up.

you see the poor boy’s face redden and he stutters out, “I’m so s-sorry, I must’ve rushed and written the wrong names on the cups. please forgive me!” you shake your head, “it’s okay, it happens, I understand. I’ll buy another one,” but joy cuts you off, “are you joking, y/n? we won’t let you pay for another one, we’ll remake it for you,” then she looks at the boy standing next to you, “and you too, minhee-ssi. it’s free of charge for you, also, so sit tight. we’ll whip up your drinks in a few minutes.” the boy (minhee, you note) smiles wide and thanks joy profusely. “thank you guys for letting us know, and I’m so sorry again. I will definitely work harder to make sure I’m not doing things in a hurry.” jinwoo apologizes once more and minhee says, “it’s no big deal, dude. really, don’t worry too much about it.” joy and jinwoo head to the back to make your drinks and you and minhee are waiting awkwardly by the counter. “so,” you start, “peppermint mocha, huh? I guess it’s an acquired taste.” minhee looks at you, and a fond smile makes its way onto his mouth. “yeah, the same definitely goes for pumpkin.” you fold your arms, and snort, “pumpkin spice is the flavor of the season. peppermint is for winter, buddy.” minhee scoffs and pulls off his hat momentarily to run a hand through his hair (you wonder what it feels like to run your fingers through it subconsciously and the tips of your ears go pink) before readjusting his hat. “you’ve got a point there. but, pumpkin mocha, peppermint mocha, we know one thing: we both wanted mochas, that’s probably how he confused the orders,” your eyes go to jinwoo who’s making the hot drinks, adding the milk to the cups. “he’s a sweet kid. I’ve seen him here many times.” you hear minhee say and your attention is once again brought back to him. “I’ve been coming here for coffee since I moved here, and I don’t know what it is, but I keep coming back.” your eyebrows shoot up at this and you beam, “I know right? it’s like I don’t see any other cafe beside this one, coffee is all I spend my money on nowadays, too and that’s insane to me.” then you guys talk about what you do, what your hobbies are and minhee seems genuinely interested in what you’re saying. his nose also crinkles up when he smiles and you notice the small freckles that are scattered across the span of his cheeks. “y/n? your coffee’s ready,” joy’s voice brings you back and you thank her before taking a sip and sighing with your eyes closed. “so, y/n, since you come by here often, do you think you’ll maybe come by here tomorrow?” a light dust of pink forms on both of your cheeks, and joy sees the exchange and smiles, before passing minhee his coffee and shuffling to the back once again. “I want to get to know you a little more, so why not over some coffee?” bashfully, you look away from minhee’s careful gaze and nod, biting your bottom lip. and just before you leave, you grab a napkin and a pen (courtesy of jinwoo) before writing down your phone number and a little “see you tomorrow :)” on the napkin and hand it to minhee. “wah, and to think my mistake led to a blooming romance.” jinwoo mumbles and he earns a small smack on the arm from joy, before taking the next customer’s order.

coterie: one

gang!au x1 x fem!reader

synopsis: you’re an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life. but what happens when you catch the gang that is famous for keeping their deeds under the table, in action?

coterie’s masterlist can be found here

a/n: mentions of drug use, cursing, and violence, so proceed with caution.

x1. everyone knew who they were; the notorious gang of eleven people, that only had one goal: to be the best and biggest gang in all of korea. they resided in seoul, but that’s about all anyone knew in terms of their location. they’ve been nothing but active ever since you moved here, and more than once you’ve seen their name on your tv screen or the newspapers. they had done some of the biggest crimes. they even once brutally murdered one of korea’s most known doctors, shin sam. they were also equally known for the anonymity which only increased the fear in the public eye. the only thing that ever meant they were present at an event was that after a killing or a heist, they would leave a small metal butterfly, to let the higher authorities know exactly what happened and who was behind it. of course, you also knew this much about them, which is why you froze when you saw what was happening to your date. jinhyuk winced in pain, his eyes closed. “you promised to have the payment for the drugs ten days ago. you know how we are with deadlines.” a boy with a slightly deep voice sneers. “that’s right. just be glad not all of us are here for this and that the boss only sent the three of us here to come and find you. if the money isn’t in our hands in three days’ time, consider your legs broken. consider yourself lucky that we didn’t kill you off now, and we usually also don’t have a grace period. but, we’re only doing this because you know one of the members well,” another boy with a deeper voice reasons. “don’t forget about it, lee. three days or i’ll slice your fucking arm off and shove it up your ass,” the last boy says, gritting his teeth. this was all you needed to hear before you let out a gasp, your eyes wide and your hand covering your mouth. the four heads turn to face you, and the three members you can only assume are part of x1 run off fast, leaving jinhyuk to rest his head against the brick wall, heavily breathing. you shakily rush over to him, and whimper, “are you okay?” he doesn’t even have the strength to nod, so he lets out a groan in pain, and you help him up. you have him put his arm around your shoulders and you support the now limping boy out of the alley. your uber pulls up to the curb a few seconds later, and you give the uber driver jinhyuk’s address. his dorm, luckily, isn’t too far from yours so when you arrive, you help jinhyuk out and walk him to his room.

“thanks for dropping me off,” jinhyuk starts but you cut him off. “i’m not leaving until you tell me everything, and I get you cleaned up.” with a stern look, you’re able to pass through jinhyuk’s door and he sits down on a chair. “the first aid box is in the cabinet beneath the bathroom sink.” his voice rings and you bite your lip, gnawing at the flesh and you follow his directions. you return to the room with the first aid kit in your hand and set it on the table. you grab an alcohol wipe and unpacked it. “this is going to sting a bit,” nodding, he deeply inhales and shuts his eyes as you press the antibacterial cloth on the small cut near the corner of his mouth, and then one on his temple. you quickly put bandaids on both places before you quickly examine his face once more. seeing as you’ve cleaned up the wounds, you sit down on a chair in front of him and ask, “now tell me what happened.” this seems to crack him, because once the last syllable passed through your lips, jinhyuk spilled it all. how he suffered a terrible drug problem that fluctuated throughout his early college years, after his grandmother passed away. he tried to control himself but it wasn’t going away soon. he changed dealers many times before he found them. he bought it from them, but hadn’t opened it up since he bought it. he felt that his grandmother wouldn’t be happy seeing him being the way he was. “I haven’t touched them since I bought them and honestly, I even tried giving it back to them, but they didn’t want to take it. they wanted the money instead.” jinhyuk was near tears at this point, and even though you were mad at him for blowing you off like that, you felt bad for him. “listen, jinhyuk. i’m so sorry that you went through the experience that you went through. and I hope life goes on well for you.” nodding silently, his lip quivers and he looks away from you. he wipes his eyes with his sleeve and says, “here let me walk you back.” he gets up but by the weakness in his knees he can barely stand up straight. you insist that he stays seated and head to the door, and before you leave he says, “hey, y/n, thank you for tonight. if it’s alright with you, once I have things sorted out, I’d like to take you out again.” a small smile forms on your lips before you agree, “I’d like that. I’ve got to go; curfew’s about to start.” understandingly, he bids you farewell, and you leave to the direction of your dorm.

as you’re walking home, it dawns on you that one thing didn’t strike you in the moment; when x1 did anything to anyone, they had never committed such crimes openly. you had to be one of the first people, other than those they attacked, to see them in action. the thought of something happening to you sends shivers down your spine. what if they find you and kill you? they cut you into pieces and toss you somewhere? then you’ll never see the light of life ever again. these thoughts alone are enough to send your mind into a whirlwind of anxiety. you’re so frightened you don’t realize that when you reach the front door of your dorm, your hands shake as you attempt to unlock the door. you must have looked as terrified as you felt because your dormmates began flooding you with questions. “was it that bad?” soobin asked, and you shrugged. “he had to take a call and never came back. but he told me that he’d make it up to me next time.” haseul screeched, “so you like him?” “he’s cute.” a say with a small smile. your dormmates yelp and dance around happily. you laugh at their antics and for a while forget about what brought you distress not too long ago. once you told your dormmates you were going to bed, you sigh and shut the door, leaning against it. before the nervousness crept up in you once again, you felt the overwhelming fatigue hit you first. after showering and changing into your pajamas, you slumped over to your bed and let the sleep take over you.

it’s been a week since the “incident” and everything’s okay. haseul asked you the next day why jinhyuk’s lip was bandaged; you didn’t want to say ‘oh yeah I caught him getting beat up by the members of the city’s biggest gang’, so you relied on your terrible acting skills and shrugged, “did he get hurt? oh nooo.” haseul clearly didn’t pay attention too much, for she just muttered, “yeah, he’s got a cut on his lip and a bandaid on his forehead,” then devilishly smiles at you, “maybe you should call him up and check on him. he is your boyfriend after all.” you rolled your eyes and scoffed jokingly. since the date, really, you haven’t really gotten into contact with jinhyuk. so you decided to text him.

“who are you texting, y/n?” soobin’s voice is awfully close to your ear, and you whip your head around so fast you bump your heads. “ow,” you say simultaneously before you push hers away. “don’t worry about it, nosy.” soobin pouted as you got off the couch and grabbed your gym shoes, fixing them onto your feet. “was it jinhyuk, perhaps?” soobin’s comment lingers with tease and you roll your eyes at her. “maybe, maybe not, who knows? all I know is that i’m heading to the gym, so i’ll see you in a bit, yeah?” soobin dramatically sighed and fell into the couch. “sure, but don’t think I won’t get you back for changing the topic.” you chuckled and yelled into the house, “later!” and you shut door before heading towards the gym. the only way you could’ve gone to the gym from your dorm was by passing through the frat houses, and jinhyuk’s warning stuck in your head. so, with careful steps and wary eyes, you made your way to the rec center. halfway through, you noticed that the absence of people on campus set an eerie silence in the air, but your focus began to shift as you saw you were approaching the gym. maybe this is the part where you slipped up because just as you crossed the street, you didn’t notice the van slowly following your side, the windows tinted. that was your first mistake. you reached the sidewalk just mere feet away from the gym. you popped in your headphones and the music played loud enough to conceal the footsteps coming from the person behind you, that wasn’t there before. that was your second mistake. just as you turned to open the door for the gym, a hand holding a cloth blocked your face, and your vision clouded before blacking out completely. your body went limp and you were swiftly carried over a shoulder before being dragged into the trunk of the same van that was following you from before. that was your third and final mistake.
