Euryphon Is Infested With An Anatomy That Connects To Different Versions Of Himself Through The Liquid

Euryphon is infested with an anatomy that connects to different versions of himself through the liquid singularity that is the hyperspatial multiverse (Orthroheim). Through smooth processes from one point to another, his anatomy changes in specific ways. Despite this he is not a free shapeshifter - his dislodged position within hyperspace only extends so far in different hyperdimensions and extradirections.

Stress, most commonly fearful emotions, can trigger uncontrolled transformations while some aspects (like this throat worm) is fully controllable at all times. When the worm is out, Euryphon’s perceptive consciousness changes location from his average human head to the worm head. He doesn’t enjoy it, it’s a process that unsettles him deeply, but it is quite handy for when he needs to reach some place high up. Despite the grotesque sight, for Euryphon the process is painless.

DOLORES DEI

DOLORES DEI

More on her in the Abyssal DE timeline below... (potential spoiler warning!)

I did some reading up on Dolores Dei, long dead native of Elysium, yesterday at the point of writing this blog post. What I read, while undoubtedly altered a bit through time and 300 years worth of retelling the same story, fascinated me.

If the logs and retellings are to be believed, she exhibited hostal symptoms, which should be impossible since she never once channels at any point. She’s dead. The fact that she was murdered by one of her own therriers who claimed that she wasn’t human supports this, but take it with a grain of salt. Potential insanity and all that.

Currently within the Abyssal DE timeline she holds the title of “False Host” to me (less to the natives of Elysium) due to these reasons. Abyssal Harry (the true, ACTUAL host) finds Dolores Dei so frightening that he’ll enter a terrified territorial reaction, the fact that she’s been long gone from life does little to calm him down unless you manage to distract him. When he sees her, his Inner Intelligences let him know quite hard that she’s LIKE him, but in a way that isn’t right. She’s masquerading, while Harry’s the real deal. Like a worse version of uncanny valley.

I’m still in the early stages of this AU but that’s the general gist so far. False host shows up 300 years ago, fucks around with hostal powers she shouldn’t logically have, and then a real host shows up way later. In the form of a psychic corspe-looking drunkard.

General Anatomical And Limb Configuration For Crimm, The Delivery Woman.

General anatomical and limb configuration for Crimm, the delivery woman.

Spiders and humans are pretty distant when it comes to anatomical relation, but I've tried to mix it as best I could. Crimm has highly evolved musculature and bone structural function, much more biologically advanced than her parents and originator species. Her joints can snap back and forth and remain equally functional, like inverting the direction your elbow bends.

When shifting joint directions people often get worried that Crimm broke the joint itself due to the loud "pop" sound, but that's just the sound of the two-way joints switching from one direction and locking into another. It's painless, but frequent switching could lead to joint strain. Crimm eats a lot due to this thanks to her quick internal healing of the straining.

The smaller middle legs are for maintaining hygiene at the end of her thorax. The tiny chest claws are biologically intended to hold eggs, but since Crimm doesn't intend on becoming a mom anytime soon she just uses them to hold cats instead.

Syeia-o-Opri: Borrowers

Some still-being-developed barf about everyone’s favorite micro-hominid.

Borrowers (”Xenomicro” homosapiens, as classified by humans) are the most intelligent lifeform fully native to the Earth, and a member of the Great Ape Family (Hominidae). Despite their larger cousins, borrowers grow to only reach a typical height of 6-8 centimeters during adulthood. Humans are the direct, though artificial, descendants of borrowerkind.

Borrowers look almost identical to common-day humans. There is a difference in general organ size, bone density, and general body structure. Side-by-side, humans have “binocular” vision and a stronger jawline while borrowers have a wider range of view and generally smoother jawlines.

They are a highly social species and live in large swarm-like groups, and can create nests within any environment if given enough time and resources. Borrowers are omnivorous but a very low-ranking predatory species (compared to their descendants who are apex predators), typically only hunting small insects for meat, and otherwise utilizing agricultural techniques to produce their own food. Scavenging is extremely common as a borrower’s agricultural area is usually too small to fully sustain larger colonies. Hunted insects are often pests.

Borrowers utilize tools and (comparatively, with humans) primitive technology, knowing how to build simple elevators and creating their own fires. Smaller borrower hives that live near humans will often siphon electricity and build slightly more advanced pieces of technology from scavenged human “ruin” objects.

Social rules are taught to each borrower generation that aid in basic survival, as they are a common prey species for larger animals. Common rules include;

-Stay out of sight -Avoid the Tyrant Species as best as possible (humans) -Don’t get in a fight unless necessary -Help your fellows -If it did not originally belong to you, then do not take more than you need -Always accept gifts from the Tyrant Species as to avoid insultation (gift may be discarded after you get out of sight) -Knowledge given by one of the Tyrant Species must be shared with the rest of the colony

Humans call xenomicro homosapiens “Borrowers.” Borrowers call individual humans “Nephilim”, and collectively as “The Tyrant Species.”
