My favourite scene in Murder Drones is when V said “It’s V-ing time” and went V over all the bad guys

So… V was (presumably) killed by things called Sentinels?

I wonder what that word means

I’m sure there’s a reference to the Solver in the second definition but I’m gonna focus on the first one for now.

V was killed by sentinels, but she also previously appointed herself as the role of a sentinel, watching over N and doing whatever she could think of to keep him safe.

V sacrificed herself to the Sentinels to keep him safe. She sacrificed herself to her role as a sentinel, giving everything up to that point to fulfil that role, and now even her life, now trusting that Uzi can carry on the role of sentinel because she’s seen the extent she’d go to to keep N safe too.

“We do our jobs. And that THING leaves us alone.”

She did her job, just not the one she was told to do. Instead it was the one she gave herself. For the hope, and the chance that by doing so, that thing (Cyn/The Solver) can leave both her and N alone.

…Now if Eldritch V shows up in either episode 7 or 8 that could even be seen as the Solver denying her the closure of it leaving her alone after she finished her job.

You ever look at art from ages ago and even though you still like it you’re just sitting there like “AGH I would change so many things if I remade this” (For this it’s the shading and foreshortening on Doll’s arm)

(Also I have a speedpaint of this on my YT channel of the same name but the quality is really bad because my OBS settings had the resolution down really low at the time of recording)

I haven’t done anything with these two for a while but here’s my OCs

Thinking of changing Amber’s name to something different, idk what yet but I’ll figure that out later so I’ll just call her A for now-

She likes dinosaurs and salvaging stuff to make other things out of and Finch likes designing mechanical stuff. A doesn’t remember her time as a disassembly drone; she was found in a collapsed cave-in and taken to a worker colony to be repaired (hence the worker drone legs) since her regeneration didn’t have enough material to stop her from going offline. She can have trouble recognising faces due to her hunting systems still being offline, but the colony provides her with the oil she needs that they’re able to find underground.

A used to have a sibling bond with another Disassembly Drone in their squad which she now shares with Finch. But the other DD is still searching for her, trying to find out what on earth could’ve caused her to go missing.

Writing about them has made me feel like developing them more…
