The main two blorbos that live in my head rent free rn are Serial Designstion A-0 (she/her) and Asher Sparks (he/him)!

A-0 (pronounced “ayo” even though it’s a zero on the end of her name) is a prototype Disassembly Drone (making her much older than the DD’s in canon), and Asher is a Gen 1 Worker Drone.

They meet after Asher, a mechanic, is tasked with trying to get information out of a captured Disassembly Drone about how their systems work and whether they have any weaknesses. Neither of them are very happy about this, but over time they build trust for each other. It takes a very long time, but eventually Asher agrees to repair/replace A-0’s damaged legs and wings, and she manages to get out of the colony soon after this.

That doesn’t stop them from finding each other and hanging out, however. It takes [Insert very long timeskip here] but eventually they become queerplatonic partners :D

I do have some other MD OCs, too, my brain just isn’t obsessing over them as heavily right now:

Serial Designation Ek-0 (Eck0, he/they) - A lonely and confused disassembly drone of A-0’s squad, trying to find his other squad members using a tool that detects drone heartbeats/core cycles.

Midge (she/her) - A Solver Drone from the Cabin Fever Labs, with the ID Number of 013, Midge roams the abandoned caves, unable to bring herself to leave, as much as she wishes she could. She carries a cat plushie with her most of the time.

Serial Designation Z-0 (Zero, they/she/it) - The leader of A-0’s squad who went missing before A-0 got captured. They always seemed… Somewhat distant, as though they were aware of something their squadmates didn’t know.
