Dad!tom where Y/n is pregnant and Tom is just so caring. He always like rubs and kisses your bump and he sometimes talks to the baby inside and you just find it completely adorable.

you woke up to the feeling of your baby kicking and you groaned as you turned over and saw that the time was 3 a.m.

you were overjoyed about being pregnant, but this was the fourth night in a row that you had woken up from the baby kicking and you knew that it was going to be a while before you got back to sleep.

you felt tom move in his sleep and you tried to stay quiet. he had just gotten back from filming and you wanted him to be able to get a good nights sleep.

you felt another kick and you let out a hiss, placing your hand over your stomach.

“love, everything okay?” tom grumbled, bringing himself up on his elbow so that way he could see you.

“yeah, tom, it’s okay, everything is okay.”

tom gave you that look that told you that he knew that you were lying.

“ugh fine, it’s just, he keeps kicking hard and i’ve been waking up a lot at night and it usually results in me not being able to fall asleep. but it’s okay, i’ll be fine. go back to sleep love.”

“darling, i’m not just going to go back to sleep while you stay up. we’re in this together, we made him together and if you’re in pain and can’t sleep then let me help you.”

“but you just got back from filming and you’re so tired tommy.”

“doesn’t matter if i’m tired love. i wanna help you get back to sleep, so let me help you.” he got you to lay on your back as he moved down the bed, placing his hand on your bump and slowly rubbing it.

“hey bubs, i know that you’re awake in there and i’m so glad that you’re active, makes me and mummy so happy when we can feel you move. but, you’re mum’s a light sleeper and she gets really cranky without sleep so do you think that you can do daddy a solid and calm it down a bit until in the morning?”

he placed gentle kisses all across your bump and continued to rub it, making you sigh out in relief as the kicking slowly calmed down.

“can’t wait for you to be here bubs. we’re so excited to meet you and hold you and we already love you so so much baby.”

you started crying at tom’s words and how gentle he was being. 

tom heard you start to cry and immediately scooted back up the bed and held you.

“oh love, i’m sorry. what’s wrong baby?” he was genuinely confused at what was going on, but he wanted to fix it.

“it’s just… you’re so damn adorable and these hormones are making me all emotional and you can’t keep doing cute shit like that and not expect me to not cry.” you laughed, wiping the tears off your face.

tom let out a gentle laugh as he rubbed your bump again.

“i think he likes it when you talk to him tommy.” you mumbled, feeling yourself starting to fall back asleep again.

“well then, i guess this will just have to be a new nightly tradition then love.” he whispered, kissing your cheek.

Imagine: Tom being interviewed about your pregnancy.

Tom’s throat constricted as he nodded at the interviewer. He was beyond unhappy to speak about his relationship with you. Not because he was embarrassed about it, but because he knew what fame did to relationships. 

“So Tom, how is Y/N? I mean, it’s been a couple of months since you announced that she was pregnant.” The interviewer said hurriedly, thrusting the microphone in Tom’s general direction. As a viewer at home, you were just as annoyed with it as he was.

“Well, I can’t really says she’s fine. The morning sickness is there, mood swings are there, cravings, all of the stuff we typically hear about. I don’t know how she feels, that would be for her to answer.” Your boyfriend of 4 years crossed his arms. He knew everything he said would later show up in articles, and on social media.

“You know, you have to wonder- aren’t you guys a little young to be expecting a baby? Plus, you’re only dating.” You bunched your covers in your hand at home. You prayed Tom would control himself and hide what he really wanted to say.

Indeed, he did. A concerned look crossed his face. “I don’t think that really matters. We are happy, and I’m absolutely thrilled that Y/N is pregnant. She’s amazing, and I can’t wait to raise a family with her, and spend the rest of my life with her. So, no. I don’t think we’re too young.”

With that, Tom walked away, leaving the interviewer frozen in his place. You quickly grabbed your phone and dialed him, trying to stifle a laugh.
