Klance Flowershop AU pt 3

Ya I straight up forgot I never finished this so

Keith keeps this schtick going for awhile, making sure he gets to see Lance at least once a week, twice if he’s feeling especially mushy

he places the orders a couple days in advance to make sure he’ll be prepared when lance shows up, always looking his best and probably working on conversation topics like the dork he is

keith comes down with a vicious stomach bug the day of one of these deliveries and calls in sick

but also hes super out of it and doesnt think to cancel the flowers

Lance shows up right on time to deliver the bouquet but his smile falls off when he sees some rando sitting at keiths desk

lance: hey what happened to keith?

rando: he called in sick

lance: oh…. um can you just call Mr, Yorak’s secretary to come get these flowers then?

after some searching, the Rando tells lance there is no Mr. Yorak

lance is confused obviously and rushes back to the shop, recounting the events to allura

allura: so for the past several weeks youve been delivering flowers to someone who doesnt exist?

lance: yeah. craaazy right?

allura: uh huh and keith was always the receptionist at the time? and you left the flowers with him every time?

lance: ya whats your point

allura: lance you oblivious bisexual disaster

after allura explains what Lance had been missing, he searches through the records to see what all the bouquets had been

1. red and pink carnations i miss you

2. a vase of lilacs love

3. red and white chrysanthemums love and honesty

lance looks at the bouquet he was to deliver that day: violets, devotion

yeah so allura is probably on to something

Keith is back to work a couple days later when he hears something thunk onto his desk

he looks up to see lance smiling over a vase of flowers

not just any flowers, a dozen red roses

keith: so who’s the lucky recipient today

lance: these are for one, Mr. Yorak

keith knows for certain he did not order a dozen red roses

gears are audibly turning in keiths head trying to figure it out before lance just gives up and sighs deeply

lance: cmon keith we both know the jig is up

keith, sweating: i have no idea what youre talking about

lance: noooo? so you dont want this beautiful bouquet that i lovingly crafted with my own two hands

keith: now hold on

lance: and you dont want to go out to dinner with me even though i already made the reservations? :(

keith: WAiT,,,,,

lance: and you definitely dont want to be my boyfriend?? :’(

keith: OKAY! ok, yes, yes, and yes now give me my fucking flowers

lance: Cool I’ll see you at 7 then :D

the date goes off without a hitch

aside from lance mercilessly teasing keith about his whole ridiculous version of flirting

lance: you literally could have just asked me out

keith: im GAY and STUPID leave me alone
