The happy-go-lucky comic relief characters who never show any pain, so when they get hurt or sick and actually do drop the smile, everyone panics

The “complains for hours over a papercut but conveniently forgets to mention when they’ve been STABBED” whumpee. Bonus points if, when there’s actually something wrong, everyone just brushes them off thinking they’re being dramatic as usual.

The character who’s had a messed up childhood and has had to suffer alone when sick or injured, so they just try to tough it out silently when something happens to them years later. When the others ask why they didn’t say something, they’re genuinely confused like? They always make it through this stuff alone, they’ve had worse, why is everyone so upset?
