PART 1 II PART 2 II PART 3 II PART 4 II PART 5 II PART 6 II PART 7 II PART 8 II PART 9 II PART 10 II PART 11 II PART 12 II PART 13 II PART 14 II PART 15
You could truly tell how the whole classroom was divided into groups during lunchtime when the members of the said groups would flock together.
Popular guys would talk about sports they had, girls or such, nerds would talk about anime and games and those happy popular girls were sitting by the window again, chatting happily about how they wanted to go to karaoke as they enjoyed their lunches.
You? You were alone at your seat at the entrance like a loner you were. It might have looked brutal, but you were happy as you were, so why did people have to try and include you? You had heard it all before, those pitiful stares and whispers.
"She is eating by herself?"
"Again?"
"Doesn't she, like, have even one friend to eat with?"
"So sad."
They had once tried to ask you to join them in what they must have thought was out of pity, but you could tell they were only taunting you.
You had looked at the poor girl they had sent to ask you and said, "No thank you. I'm fine here." before completely ignoring her. However, once she returned to her friends, they were all giggling like crazy, at you no doubt.
If you had to choose, you would probably have most common with Otakus, those nerds and gamers, but you weren't really a team player. You preferred going solo.
So once lunchtime rolled around, you grumbled by yourself as you grabbed your shoulder bag and made your way out of the classroom before the groups could form.
Many people brought lunch from home and some used their pocket money to buy something from the canteen. You had your own lunch packed in your shoulder bag so you didn't need to buy anything, but what you sought wasn't food but a place to eat in peace.
Normally you would eat outside, but since it was Fall already, it could get pretty chilly outside. So you ventured to this old abandoned classroom that was mainly used to store furniture and such. You liked eating there, you had a place to sit, it was quiet and the best part was that there was no one else there ever.
Or so you thought. You opened to door and stepped inside, but before you could close the door you heard someone say your name. You flinched, slightly startled, and whipped around to see the young man with wild hair and a huge scar on his face, Genya Shinazugawa.
"Oh. Genya." You looked around, trying to see if there was anyone else with him, but he appeared to be alone. You weren't sure if you wanted to disturb him so you turned around, ready to leave, willing to leave your normal place to eat for the sake of being alone again, "I'm sorry, I'll go somewhere else-!"
"W- wait!" Genya called after you and you stopped in your tracks and turned to look at him, "What is it?"
"Would you, uh… Would you like to eat with me…?" He asked carefully, his face flushed red as he averted his gaze. You were starting to see a pattern here when he would blush and look away.
You weren't really sure if you wanted to stay, but you kind of liked Genya and you actually didn't really mind his company. At least that's what you thought, based on his visit to your place last week.
After a small moment of silence, you turned to look at him properly, "Are you sure?"
He nodded quickly and you huffed as you walked up to him and sat by the desk next to his. You dug out your convenience store-bought lunch box from your shoulder bag and you and Genya both noticed that you had the exact same boxes. Same meat on rice and light salad on the side.
"Ah-!" You both opened your mouths to speak, only to speak over one another. This made you both blush and avert your gazes from each other.
"You, uh…" You started awkwardly, "You have a good taste…"
"Thanks…" Genya nodded, "You too…"
Oh God, how could the two of you be so awkward? The two of you got your disposable utensils that came with the lunch boxes and started to eat in silence. The rich meat was well-balanced with pretty bland rice and the side salad was both fresh and refreshing. You were almost done with your lunch when your curiosity got the best of you.
"So, uh…" You frowned as you tried to figure out what to say, "What brings you here?"
"I was just…" Genya looked aside, "I was searching for a remote place to eat in peace."
"Ah…" You nodded, "I'm sorry, I barged in here."
"I- it's okay!" The young man blushed, "If it's you then I don't mind company…"
You blinked as you felt your cheeks tingle as blush rose to your cheeks. You averted your gaze and asked, "Don't you have anyone to eat with?"
"I'm… Not exactly popular or anything…" Genya admitted quietly, "People are kind of afraid of me and I admit, I can be scary and temperamental…"
Ah, you were both kind of similar, or at least in the same boat… But he couldn't help it if he was scary looking, you could at least try to be nicer, but you didn't trust anyone enough to actually open up a little.
"I know how you feel. I'm not exactly very friendly so I don't have any friends." You said as you looked at him, "I admit that I am also a pretty cynical person."
You were a little ashamed of admitting it, but Genya seemed to understand.
"You seem nice enough for me?" He thought out loud, much to your surprise.
"Well…" You frowned as you felt your cheeks tingle more, "Unlike most of the guys and girls in this school, you seem like an alright guy. Genuine and honestly nice."
"I… T- thank you?" Genya blushed as he averted his gaze and you felt a little silly, talking like that to a guy you barely knew… But somehow you had this feeling that you could trust him and that he wasn't like other people.
"How is Lady?" He suddenly asked.
"Hm?" You looked at him in confusion and he cleared his throat, "The kitten."
"Oh!" You felt stupid, not immediately realizing that he was talking about the kitten you had adopted from the streets a little over a week ago.
"She is doing well. Hungry, the little one eats like a damn horse but that's apparently expected from young and growing kittens like her."
Genya smiled at the choice of your words and you felt your chest tighten a little at the sight of his smile. You dug out your phone and saw that the lunch break was almost over. You both would have to rush to your own classrooms if you didn't want to be late for the class.
"I gotta go, the class is starting soon." You said and you felt honestly bad for leaving because some part of you wanted to keep on talking with this young man. The two of you seemed to have pretty much in common so you kind of wanted to get to know him a little better, even if only a little.
"Ah, I understand…" Genya nodded and the two of you put your empty lunch boxes away but before either one of you left, you collected your courage and looked at him. "Um… Genya?"
"Yes?"
"Would you, uh…" You blushed a little, "Would you like to exchange phone numbers? Like, if you would like to eat together or such?"
Hearing you ask for his number made the rough-looking young man blush furiously. He was shaking as he nodded pulled out his own smartphone from his jacket's pocket and handed it to you so you could input your phone number in it and you copied him, handing him your phone.
Once you had both put your numbers in each other's phones, you handed them back and you smiled a little, "Thank you. See you tomorrow at the same time?"
"Y- yes!" Genya nodded and you both left and went your own ways so you wouldn't be late for your classes.
The rest of the day, you were actually in a kind of good mood. You still got annoyed by your foolish classmates, but it bothered you a little less when you thought about your new friend.

Random question, have you think of Ratio's parents are Alhaitham and Kaveh?
it doesn't make a lot of sense since star rail and genshin timelines are so far apart but it's still one of my favorite ratio headcannons, like what if ratio's interest in engineering comes from growing up with mehrak

✮ - Thinking about having matching tattoos with Kaiser

Michael Kaiser's famous blue rose tattoo. The one that most people knew him because, I mean it was his trademark after all. Though after you started dating him of course you learned how much the tattoo actually meant to him, well in more specifics, how much the blue rose had actually meant to him. So since you knew your 3rd anniversary was coming up you decided to do something you had possibly thought about in the past but never actually acted on, getting a matching tattoo. Obviously not the same one he had, but something that also had the blue rose, and possibly the vines. You had already been getting a bunch of things online recently about tattoos, and finding a style that you liked wasn't all that difficult, Thanks Pinterest! Once finally finding a design you found a time that you could go get it before the date of your anniversary and one of the days that he had practice, so he wouldn't actually find out. Of course you had gotten him something else, but you thought it would be a nice sentiment to have a matching tattoo, especially from how many times in the past 2 years he's been asking you to get a matching one with him, and what better way than to get one that matched his most prized one? You ended up getting it while he was at practice 3 days before your anniversary, you had gotten it in a harder to see spot, around your ankle. So you could at least hide it with pants, or socks, and you were almost successful in hiding it for those 3 days. As the morning after, when he was still sleeping you were able to take of the wrap and clean it, and were successful for the first 2 days, but on the day before your anniversary it was really hot and you definitely didn't wanna wear pants to bed, I mean it was already hot and then a blanket on top, plus pants?! No way. Though in the process of trying to find something else, Kaiser came in. To which from the door of the closet you could see your whole body, and he frozen when he looked down and saw the blue roses wrapping around your ankle. "Wait a minute.. you definitely didn't have that the last time I saw your ankle, mein liebling.." To which you were surprised at his figure standing in the door, hadn't he already been in bed?! "Oh yeah.. Surprise?" He slowly walked over, sitting you down on the floor before sitting next to you grabbing your leg to look closer at it "You.. got it for me?" "Well yeah.. It was supposed to be a anniversary surprise but it was really hot so I didn't have the chance to hide it yet" You explained as he twisted your ankle around, trying not to hurt you, viewing all the sides of it. After a couple more seconds of looking at it, he put your leg down, moving over to pull you into a hug. "I love it. and I love that you remembered.. not only the fact I wanted matching tattoos, but what it meant. Now my two favorite things have a blue rose connection.." It was a few more minutes of sitting on the floor of your closet, hugging it out before the clock finally struck midnight, and the first minute of your 3rd anniversary with Kaiser. "Happy 3rd anniversary, Micha.."
That’s all my 4000 Kaiser accs btw

Breaking Barriers
Warnings: mentions of abuse (his childhood)

The buzz of the stadium was deafening, the crowd’s energy a palpable force as they roared for the players on the field. Among them was Michael Kaiser, the football prodigy whose skills on the field were matched only by his enigmatic persona off it. He had always been a man of singular focus, driven by the pursuit of greatness and the thrill of the game. Love was an alien concept to him, an unnecessary distraction from his path to glory.
Michael’s childhood was marred by hardship. His mother left right after he was born, leaving him alone with his father, whose abuse left deep scars. His father, lost in his own struggles and insecurities, offered no warmth or affection. Football became his refuge, the one thing he could control, the one thing that made him feel valued. Love was a luxury he couldn’t afford, an illusion he never believed in.
Until he met you.
It was after a particularly grueling match that he saw you for the first time. You were in the stands, cheering with a passion that caught his attention. There was something in your eyes, a spark that resonated with him in a way he couldn’t quite explain. He found himself drawn to you, his gaze lingering on your face even as he walked off the field, drenched in sweat and triumph.
The opportunity to speak with you came at a post-match event, a charity gala where the players mingled with fans wealthy enough to attend and benefactors. He saw you across the room, your smile radiant as you engaged in conversation. Gathering his nerve, he approached you, his usual confident demeanor slightly faltering.
“Enjoyed the match?” he asked, his voice smooth yet tentative.
You turned to him, eyes lighting up in recognition. “It was amazing! You were incredible out there, as always.” You couldn't believe you were actually talking to him.
He smiled, a genuine one that reached his eyes. “Thanks. I’m Michael, by the way.”
“I know,” you replied with a laugh. “I’m Y/N.”
The evening passed in a blur of conversation and laughter. For the first time in his life, Michael felt a connection that had nothing to do with football. He found himself opening up to you, sharing stories and thoughts he usually kept to himself. You listened with genuine interest, your presence a soothing balm to his often chaotic mind.
As weeks turned into months, your bond deepened. You became his anchor, the person he sought out after every match, the one who grounded him when the pressure became too much. He found himself caring about your happiness, your dreams, your fears. It was a new sensation, one that both exhilarated and terrified him.
One evening, as you walked together in the city’s park, he finally admitted it. “You know, I’ve never felt like this before,” he confessed, stopping to look into your eyes. “Love, I mean. It’s always been about football for me. But with you… it’s different.”
You smiled, your hand reaching up to cup his cheek. “Love is a powerful thing, Michael. It can change everything.”
His mind flashed back to his childhood, the nights spent alone, the harsh words, the absence of a comforting touch. He had built walls around his heart, fortresses to keep the pain at bay. But with you, those walls were crumbling.
“I was never shown love,” he admitted, his voice barely a whisper. “Not by my mother, not by my father. Football was all I had. It’s all I’ve ever known.”
Your eyes softened with understanding. “I’m so sorry baby, but you deserve to be loved. You deserve to be happy.”
He leaned into your touch, his heart pounding in a way that had nothing to do with the physical exertion he was used to. “I think I’m starting to understand that,” he murmured.
As you stood there, under the fading light of the evening sky, Michael Kaiser realized that he had found something even more precious than victory on the field. He had found you, and with you, he had found love.
