Sparkles is one of my oldest characters. She is inspired by, and influenced by 90s era PLUR rave styling.

A bit of an oddball, tries to keep everyone around her in a good mood with silly antics and sarcastic shirts. She has been in a few rough encounters involving drugs. Her chipped ear and damaged tail came from a particularly violent night. The worst night was watching a friend die at a party. After that happened she vowed to be the brightest light in everyone’s lives, and generally keeps away from drugs. (She doesn’t try to stop anyone else though) Sparkles just wants to protect everyone so we can dance all night.

Sparkles bestie is Sarah, who she met when Sarah was working at a raver event. Sparkles thinks Sarah’s grumpiness is cute! Sarah thinks Sparkles intense positivity is endearing, because it’s something Sarah can’t do very well.
