Read back my Edyn post and that got me thinking about Gillion's parents. Did his mother scream and sob when they tore her baby boy from her arms, or did she always know his fate? Did his father see every stained glass window, knowing it was a reminder of his son, what he must become? How old was Gillion when he was taken? Only ten years old, or six, or three?
