i hopped back on enderal just to take a screenshot of my prophetess teliora :) slightly cooler looking than she actually is but its fine its what she deserves!

her backstory under the cut if you want a little reading session (its not close to canon prophet story at all heehee)

after growing up in a not-so ideal home and finding out she's got a gift for magic, she makes a run for the mountain monastery in the kettle mountains, where she's heard that mages live.

there, under the guidance of fellow mages, she gains a love for research and learning, and is taught to control her magic.

while the wars and ongoing conflicts with the mages put fear in her heart, she keeps a cool head and occasionally communicates with her family with a false address, and even gets to visit a few times her cousin adelheid (shadowgod/nehrim protagonist!) in the tirin abbey, where she ended up living after her family dies in an attack on their town.

in later years, during the new rebellion started by narathzul arantheal, she's reunited with her cousin and is both proud and worried to find her to be part of them. soon after arantheal's return and capture of erothin, she leaves for enderal, fearing that nehrim's turbulent times have only started.

after a terrible shipwreck, she slowly makes her way to ark with jespar's help, and slowly finds herself comfortable in her new home when some of her fellow nehrimese mage colleagues arrive in ark, with grandmaster tealor arantheal in tow. and uh. enderal things happen two or three years after :)

Brief Intro:

"Oh, you want to know about me...?"

Through her sunset eyelashes and overcast eyes, she looks down at you. She's tall and lean with a peculiarly soft demeanor. She smells like flowers and fresh herbs.

She gently smiles, "Usually I'm the one asking the questions.... Well...." The girl blinks and looks to the side in thought, then to you. "I'm Auria. I hail from Tirin Abbey, where I have been training with my master to learn alchemy."

As she raises her finger to rest on her chin as she thinks, she pauses. The air feels light and slow. You swore the scent of smoke passed by your nose, but you dismiss it. You're too entranced by the mystery of Auria, who stands in prevalent thought before you.

"I enjoy wandering the Sarathin Forest and collecting Morning Glories and mushrooms. Sometimes, I visit the bard near the theater in Erodan to listen to him sing. There's nothing exciting to tell, really... Besides, you best not be caught talking to me. It might damage your reputation if someone sees you talking with an Aeterna..."

This hits so much differently in Enderal than in Nehrim.

Like I think about spending my sweet, sweet time in Ark and just enjoying the atmosphere in Enderal. Kind of bittersweet and ending.

And then in Nehrim I feel like it's a very temporary breeze. As if the light stroll to Erothin from Cahbaet is just the bridge between light & chaos.

It really makes you think about how different music is when you put it in two almost completely separate stories.

"Fine! Then move your highly dignified bottom somewhere else and let me take the sword!"
