stray kids takes good care of you, but sometimes they can go a little far with their protectiveness over you.

for example, whenever you’re talking to a male idol, especially a senior, bang chan always has an eye on you just in case.

seungmin always grabs your hand right after so that whoever it is knows to mind their own business. you’re theirs (at least for now).

so maybe it’s their fault that they weren’t expecting to have to worry about a girl group member flirting with you.

felix was so supportive when you came out to him and he’s the only member who doesn’t ever get too overprotective of you most of the time. he just wants to hear all the hot goss whenever you come home from a date.

so it’s no surprise that it was felix who you first told about your crush on ryujin. you even practiced confessing to her with him sometimes, so you wouldn’t be nervous.

the rest of the members were really surprised when they eventually caught the two of you together after an award show.

chan and minho (who are like your older brothers) felt a surge of protectiveness and pride because awww their baby sister finally found someone. the rest of the members were just really excited for you! and felix tried his best to look shocked.

they might be wary at first, but they see the way ryujin looks at you, the way she holds your hand whenever you cross the street and brings you warm drinks when you’re feeling anxious. and slowly they start to trust her and see her as a part of your family.

that doesn’t mean that hyunjin and jeongin don’t still make faces at you whenever one of you kisses the other or that bang chan doesn’t make sure you’re home at a reasonable hour (if the managers started getting suspicious it would be a disaster), but it does mean that they’re much more affectionate and sweet towards ryujin. and they trust her alone with you, which isn’t the case for most people.

but can you really blame them? you’ll always kind of be their baby, even if you’re an adult.
