Baekhyun (EXO) Mini Album “City Lights”: “Diamond” Lyric Analysis.
There are two kinds of songs in Baekhyun’s album: The ones that can turn you on, like “Stay Up”, and the one that turns my imagination on, like “Diamond” (You are killing me softly with this song, BBH…please, don’t play with my heart that it’s in your hand!).
As I’ve already said, this is the second Baekhyun’s solo song (after “Beautiful”) that share the same title with a previous EXO’s song. But the word “diamond” apeared in EXO’s lyrics even before that (at least two times in my list).
In “My Lady”: “Your eyes are more beautiful and more stealable than a diamond”.
In “Love Me Right”: “Shine a light like the diamond of the Milky Way”. In “Diamond”: “Shinin’ shinin’ just like a diamond. Blindin’ blindin’ you like a diamond”. (Just curiosities)

Let’s talk about baekhyun’s pillowcase
(warning: probably-a-little-irrational chanbaek thoughts ahead. by a little I mean very.)
I’m not here to talk about how it’s the absolute cutest thing ever to see baekhyun travel with his little baby pillowcase everywhere he goes to, just to feel at home. I will not. talk. about. this. the urge is strong.

the patterns on the pillowcase? elephants and giraffes. cute ones at that.

what animal did chanyeol said he resembled most (in, by the way, a video he and baekhyun filmed together and were almost sitting on top of each other)? yes. giraffes.
and what im trying to say is that:
1. the fact that bbh goes places with his baby pillowcase is the sweetest thing ever and makes me so soft for him I feel myself dying a little inside, 2. that super cute pillowcase has got two animals on it and very “surprisingly”, these are giraffes and elephants??
