every episode of nightvale cecil is like "btw me and beautiful wonderful gorgeous carlos (my husband) (who i love) (because he is my husband) have passionate gay homosexual sex. anyway, heres the weather" followed by a song recorded in an abandoned grain silo with audible wind where its just the sentence "ON THE EVE OF OUR ANNIVERSARY SHE LEFT ME ROTTING BENEATH THE APPLE TREE BECAUSE I WAS NEVER HER ADAM I WAS JUST THE SNAKE THAT DAMNED HER" which is in turn followed by a 15 minute segment of cecil describing how a citizen of nightvale went to hell dantes inferno style and came back and all they had to say on it was that it was "pretty neat" and that "lucifer's actually not too bad"

cecil is like the personification of people playing tiktoks full volume in public this is not a compliment

Sometimes Cecil will claim he does something 'every broadcast' when he in fact does not, which leads me to the only logical conclusion that we are not actually hearing a full broadcast no matter as complete and linear as it seems to us. Cecil is actually On Air for hours and hours and we're just hearing bits of it.
