I've been working on this one project for an incredibly long time. A webcomic based on the story of Hades and Persephone (the thousandth one).

I just really wanted to make a Hades and Persephone story that is more of a slow romance and not rushed, the process of becoming friends and then falling in love. Other Hades and Persephone tales are too quick in romance for me, but I do get it considering the original myths are quick in romance, since it is Hades falling in love with Persephone and taking her to The Underworld. Along with that, I've made other changes.

How the story goes about is;

The story takes place in the 1890s, and Persephone is a ballerina/actress... Which was a difficult job (and still is) during the time for numerous reasons; it takes a lot out of you physically, mentally, you didn't get much financially, and men only seemed interested in attending the audience just to pursue the ballerinas.

One night, Persephone has enough of the world and skips the performance to be herself. But, she isn't alone. She is offered an escape from the world by mysterious and mischievous small creatures, goblins. She accepts and they give her a pomegranate, which they claim would help her.

Enter a confused and stressed Lord of The Dead, King of The Underworld, who does not know what to do with this new situation.
