Serious talk regarding @partycoffin’s most recent post

First of all, I want anybody who have been financially profiting off of Clown’s own work when they specifically said that they didn’t want that to happen, and if you were in fact AWARE of their wishes, you disgust me.

Welcome Home has been a project of theirs for many years and for them to share it with good intentions and be met with invasion of their own privacy, creations that they never asked for (looking at you r34 artists) and more is absolutely horrible.

To anybody that has contributed to NSFW works, profiting off Clown’s works, trying to find where they LIVE, I want you all to take a step back and consider what you’ve done.

Imagine that you’re an artist. You create something, and that something has helped you so you want to share it with others. In other words, you’re doing your job as a storyteller. Then imagine that it gets popular, and yeah, it’s exciting, but suddenly people are profiting off your ORIGINAL work, hacking to find your IP address, impersonating you, creating and posting things you specifically asked them to not make - do you see how stressful that is?

To put it simply - back off. Invasion of privacy is SERIOUS and is absolutely terrifying. It has come THIS FAR that whenever they go out they’re in fear.

So please, please give them a break. Be kind, they’ve done nothing to deserve this.

Warning: mention of rape and psychological abuse

Last year I’ve been raped and psychologically abused by an ex partner many times. More than I can count. By the person I loved the most in my whole life.

After 4 months we broke up I finally found the comfort and peace I was looking for on Welcome Home. It was the first time I didn’t thought about those events since January. I was so happy to see the love someone used to make an amazing and colorful universe that it made my days happier.

I don’t want this joy to be ruined by some people who call themselves “fans” but aren’t even capable of empathy. I am sure that I, Celestia, am not the only one who found comfort on WH and @/partycoffin work.

This whole situation isn’t about me in any kind of way, but Clown! I’m just telling my history and how Welcome Home is making my life colorful again, because I know someone out there will identify with me.

Please, I’m begging, if you consider yourself a fan, or even a human, stop harassing someone and disrespecting their wishes. Clown is a person too, with emotions, family, friends, goals and wishes. Just like you and me.
