OC-TOBER DAYS 11 AND 12: SYMBOLISM/THEMES AND FUTURE

A digital illustration of Ruth Dextrose and Blu Portobello, both rubberhose toons. The upper half of the illustration is colored in shades of indigo, and the lower half is colored in shades of gold. Ruth is a young woman who is averagely-figured. Blu is the same, just a toon. Ruth has dark skin, prominent buck teeth, lightly colored shoulder-length curly hair, a widow's peak, prominent eyelashes, eye-bags, and thick eyebrows. He wears glasses in both illustrations of them. Blu has darkly tanned skin, numerous freckles, eye-bags, long straight dark hair, and thin eyebrows. In the upper illustration, their hair is down; in the lower illustration, their hair is in a singular brain, and they have developed poliosis. In the upper illustration, Blu's face is visible to the left; Ruth is to the right. They both appear forlorn, and their glasses are opaque to conceal their eyes. The background around their faces is a deep blue, fading into a lighter blue as the background moves down. The lower half of the illustration shows the toons viewed in bust format. Ruth wears a light pink Harlem overcoat, pink bow-tie, and light dress shirt and rubberhose gloves. Blu wears a dark bow-tie and rubberhose gloves, as well as a light short-sleeved shirt. Ruth and Blu face each other while holding hands, both smiling. The background is golden around them. Behind them are lighter gold playing card diamonds; some of the diamonds fade into pink in the middle of the canvas. The upper illustrations are separated by a large cloud that begins in light yellow at the top and ends in purple as it goes down. It contains appropriately colored text, reading, "Day 11 & 12", "Symbolism", and "Future". Separating symbolism and future is a golden diamond.

(not ship) HI THIS IS MY FAVORITE DAY SO FAR. combined these two prompts for maximum awesome shifter twins art!!! to glean some of the obvious parts, the symbols used here are their glasses and the playing card diamond, and the future is represented by their mid/late 1940s designs :-) this was inspired by one of the shifter twins songs ever (also look at the album name 😉)

for @firecurls-27 's dtiys. Raging the Animal Tamer. (she loves her animals though so she doesn't hurt them. In fact she plays with a chimera like it's a kitten in the hopes it'll encourage someone to do the same, and the chimera will eat them lmfao.) Had a lot of trouble with the lighting so sorry it doesn't look good.

Do Boil, Shatter and Malice try to tell the others about their past lives if so do they believe them or do they think they are crazy

Shatter sees no point. He feels that even if he does tell them they wouldn’t believe him. To them shatter is just a very depressing, tall, so-called father.

Boil tries to tell them stories of their old lives in hopes of triggering their memory. It only rarely works. But does nothing.

Malice gets to spend the most time with evil/cuphead, so she also tries to slowly remind him of his old life. She’s given up on helping vile.
