Leaving aside their actors, I think R&N are the most annoying characters in the whole series, I know they are the most protagonist but they become so toxic with each other and with the others, they both project their insecurities on the others, I hope that separately they give them the opportunity to develop separately to be better like Gina and EJ did, I hope they end up getting into a relationship with others when they are ready, but the R&N thing is broken because they obviously don't work together as a couple, they need to take their time and then when they are ready they can be with someone.

I knew it but it still makes me mad. My dislike for Olivia aside, Nini is the most boring and annoying character on the show. I just hope they don't make all of S3 about her and her problems. Or put her and Josh in awkward positions. I want every character to get the screen time they deserve

Lol i noticed that some kf the cast who commented on olivias more recent photos (ie photos posted after josh released the ep) have deleted their comments, and on the tour announcement/tiny desk photo no one commented. It’s very clear now they were instructed to stay out of it so as to not appear to be seen “taking sides.” Which is stupid, because all of this drama is stupid and josh and olivia both deserve to have successful musical careers independent of each other and to be recognized for their talents alone. But from the rest of the cast’s pov it makes complete sense why their managers would tell them to stay out of it on social media. They’re all at the start of their career and don’t want to get embroiled in any of this drama.

Honestly I'm glad that they got enough heat about the situation to delete their comments because maybe it'll make them rethink taking sides or showing blatant favoritism. But on the other hand I don't want them to get hate and I don't want to make it awkward between Josh and the rest of them. I just really want the drama to freaking end because its got to be hard for the cast members to deal with as well, being in the middle.

olivia rodrigo’s fandom is extremely toxic. reasons? well, y’all love to tear other talented women down just to boost her up. this isn’t her fault, but the fact that she doesn’t speak up against it, speaks volumes. maybe she doesn’t because of her management now, but they are seriously painting out to be a mean girl who only tears other girls down just because she dated her ex. instead of using y’all’s energy to support her, these 12 year old girls spend every second of their day stalking Sabrina to hate on her.

Now i’m gonna come for the grown ass adult people, act like it. quit trying to make up drama that isn’t even there. you will literally find any excuse to hate on Sabrina. she’s literally the least controversial celebrity i know of. she has been nothing but kind to everyone she meets. and YOU want to hate her because she’s pretty and blonde? you bunch of hypocrites. you talk about female empowerment and preach about supporting women. bht when the pretty blonde decides to post music for her fans, y’all go out of your way to start calling her horrible names. i’ve come to the conclusion that you’re nothing but a sorry loser that has nothing going in their lives but to bully people.

anyway, to end this post. i don’t support olivia’s fandom whatsoever. but i do not hate olivia or her music.

They are so ruthless and how cruel the fact that Oliva never said anything seems as if she doesn't care about these toxic attitudes.

The Internet Basically Attacking Joshua Basset

NOTE: I’m not calling out a specific fandom. I am completely aware that some carpenters also sent hate to this man, and that’s not okay. This is merely a short compilation of the horrible things the internet has done to him because of the DL drama. It is also fair to note that I am not actually a fan of Joshua Basset- but I do have a friend who’s a fan so I mostly got my context from him. 

Some of the pictures are mine, and some of the pictures are from other users (CTTO). I personally don’t have that much pictures because again, I’m not a fan- but I can attest to some of the death threats (also, am thankful for everyone who saw my compilation of Sabrina Carpenter’s death threats and sent me some of JB’s). I tried finding more but most of them are privated slash deleted but of course, this does not dismiss the fact that the internet sent death threats to Joshua Basset on mental health awareness month (and the last eight months) because of a fucking song. 

I am not blurring any username out because again, you posted on a public domain where your opinion is completely unprompted whatsoever, take responsibility. 

TW: invalidation of sexuality slash homophobic remarks (im not sure whether to label it as biphobia, panphobia, or queerphobia TBH because he never labelled himself but many of these basically dismisses the other letters in the community and straight up labels him gay when he never explicitly mentioned anything) (no, you can’t just make a homophobic remark and hide it in the guise of a joke, im not sure who needs to hear this but homophobia is not funny), bomb/death threats, slurs (censored), SA allegations

CONTEXT: Joshua Basset came out. He never explicitly mentioned slash placed a label on what he identifies as but it’s clear that he likes both men and women. (He said a few days later I think that he was still trying to navigate his way through all of it).

I personally don’t know how the case is going, all I heard is there are several allegations against him (my friend told me that Lie Lie Lie was written in 2020 about a friend who spread said allegations about JB), but I saved this from a thread that I unfortunately can no longer find :( that said, I have no idea about these and feel free to add more context! Thanks!

CONTEXT: Olivia had that white house thing and everyone made it about Joshua LMAO (Joshua had already been out by this time. Remember that he never said he was gay).

There were many disgusting private QTs to this where they wished he d*** or somewhere along the line and I unfortunately can’t look into it (frankly im too lazy and ive already seen a lot of disgusting things). CONTEXT: More on Joshua Basset’s coming out and the fact that everyone made it about the drama or the girls basically invalidating his coming out altogether (some were accusing him of queerbaiting)- seriously wondering where was Twitter’s performative activism when this one took place lmao

BOTTOMLINE- This is disgusting and this doesn’t even cover everything but the internet owes Joshua Basset a HUGE apology. I can’t even fathom how much hate this guy gets in his DMs. My friend (who’s a JB fan) told me that the hate where basically everywhere when SOUR came out because the entire internet apparently had nothing better to do than spin a few lines out of proportion to fit a damning narrative in order to act as hero when really, none of the hate this man gets is justified. Literally please get a hobby and stop hating on a twenty year old? Oh my god, my friend told me I would find more in IG but I don’t even want to get in there lol stay safe and don’t spread hate to anyone!

Did you see that mark tweeted in support of josh? Genuinely the first post from a cast mate (besides roman and andrew who posted on the same day) that seems fully genuine. And coincidentally, aside from andrew and roman, is also the only one that mentioned his music.

I did! Honestly I knew it was coming eventually. Mark has been the only adult to consistently show support to Josh. He likes every post, and even had him on his podcast talking about mental health.

After everything that has gone on I really do not think I can watch season 3 of the series. I found out about the drama late so I really didn’t know about it. I don’t know why but I really believe Joshua and his new songs really don’t paint Olivia in a good light especially Secret, and I’m seeing her in a new light. Both Olivia and Joshua are better off far apart from each other. I just wish people would move on so he can get his life back.

I encourage you to give S3 a try, I plan to. Since Nini and Ricky are now broken up, and with all the drama behind the scenes, I do think thaf they'll let that rest and give them their individual story lines. I just hope this season will be less about Nini and her problems and more about all the characters.

Plus I'm a huge Portwell fan and am excited to see where they go, so i'm just gonna focus on that.
