Whump Trope

When the torture is over, but the hero is still in so much pain that they’re delirious. Their friends are trying to patch them up, but they keep flinching and struggling to get away, begging, pleading, ‘No, please stop! Someone help me! Please! Oh, God, no. No, I can’t! No more, please!’ And they watch in horror as the hero relives the pain, but they have to push past it. They have to hold the hero down or sedate them or something. They’ll never forget the way the hero cried.

Humiliation prompts/ideas?

I got some for ya!

- The whumper stripping the whumpee to wash them and clean their wounds so they’ll be ready for more later (they may or may not ever give their clothes back)

- Starving the whumpee until they’re desperate enough to eat rotten food, animal food or even things that can’t be considered “food” at all – insects, rodents, etc.

- Forcing them to “entertain” their captors (this works especially well for whumpees with special powers or abilities that exhaust them)

- Degradation: “You’re not even a person anymore, you’re a toy, a plaything, you’re weak, you’re worthless, you can’t even stand up”

- Filming them as they break under torture and sending it to their loved ones

- Putting the whumpee on a collar and chain and dragging them around

- Muzzling or blindfolding them and leaving them alone to find their way

- Animalistic nicknames like “pet”, “mutt”, “mongrel”, “thing”, “dog”, etc.

- Making them beg to be hurt or thank the whumper for hurting them

- Forcing them to use titles for the whumper like “sir” or “master”
