Redesigning an Older Character!

Radar from 2021 (old design:)

An older drawing of my OC. He is drawing in a block like style with a square head. He has shape brown hair that is mostly square at the top, with one large bang. He has lines of facial hair on his chin, as well a small scar at the bottom going up the side. One of his eyes is narrowed and green, the other is normal, looking to the side. He appears deeply distressed, his eyebrows furrowed. He has a white lab coat with a green bow tie, and one of his arms is black and spiky, with claws, like an animal.

New Ref Sheet:

Zoom in of the new design. His hair is a little less greased back, still square in shape with spikes above the ears and down near his neck, but with shorter bangs that are more equal. There is a large gash in his face, about half of his chin, moving up and thinning to about 1/3 of his face near the top. His left eye is severed, the eye socked swollen and the removed. His other eye looks fine. He has significantly more facial hair than the original design, as well as a normal tie with pinstripes, and a slightly darker colored jacket.

im sure somebody will question why his face looks so much worse, and it has to do with bad representation of his injury in the original. His scar comes from a ceiling pole falling from a roof during an accident, and essentially slicing a massive chunk of his face off. And I drew that tiny scar for it originally.

Radar is a 42 year old cis male (he/him), born in the UK from a Portuguese family. He has a boyfriend, who also works in his lab. He’s a virologist, and has the basic requirements for a position in his state (a Medical Degree and a PHD in Chemistry), as well as having done nursing for a while and acquired a Bachelors.

He’s a silly lil fella and he likes dogs :)
