Yesterday, after what felt like an eternity, Ezzideen and I finally spoke for nearly an hour. Despite the lack of good internet, phone calls are working again!

We talked about everything, just like we used to before the war.

I am writing this because of something that left me feeling utterly devastated, sad, and helpless yesterday. While we were talking, there was this incredibly annoying and ominously close noise. It was terrifying, making you feel like death is lurking nearby. You don’t know if you’re going to lose someone you love in the next moment.

I was terrified and asked him if that noise was normal. He told me it was totally okay, that they had gotten used to it. No need to worry, he said.

It was the sound of a quadcopter!

I am trying so hard to understand what people in Gaza are going through, but even if we spent our entire lives trying, we could never truly grasp their suffering.

I am doing everything I can to be supportive, but the situation is beyond crazy.

Please, help me get my best friend and his family out of Gaza as soon as the border opens. It is more urgent than we can even comprehend!

always need to feel each other near, still finding comfort in each other and still there are people saying daemon does not love her while this man is ready to burn the world to the ground to keep her and his family safe. The hand on his chest, the hair, we are getting more than just crumbs even if they both are grieving and angry their love will only grow stronger this season and it's important that their is conflict it will only strengthen their bond, this is rough but they both can handle each other's dark side, they know each other and they will always find their way back to each other, they always did.

With him you breathe freely. You can avow your little vanities and envies and hates and vicious sparks, your meannesses and absurdities and, in opening them up to him, they are lost, dissolved on the white ocean of his loyalty. He understands. You do not have to be careful. You can abuse him, neglect him, tolerate him. Best of all, you can keep still with him. It makes no matter. He likes you. He is like fire that purges to the bone. He understands. He understands. You can weep with him, sin with him, laugh with him, pray with him. Through it all—and underneath—he sees, knows and loves you.
