When you spam “EWW MARY SUE!!!” in the comments sections across any social media outlet. When you dedicate entire blogs to tearing apart the “Sues” you find in fanfiction and fanart. You are annoying. You have been annoying for a very long time now. Fifty years to be exact.This is the sort of behavior I expect from children because at least there’s a chance for them to grow out of it. Any adult who uses “Mary Sue” unironically and dedicates this amount of time and energy into being angry about fictional characters is just looking for an “acceptable” excuse to be an asshole. This is childish, wildly immature, and annoying as fuck."

The straights complaining about how gay The Sandman is. Is just. SO hilarious to me. Like. Guys. It was always this gay. But it was this gay in the fuckin 80s and 90s. They changed like two things. Changing it from John to Joanna Constantine doesn’t even change anything since John is canonically bi as fuck. But also Joanna is literally his ancestor. I’m a big fan of the changes they made honestly. Obviously with it being from the 80s and 90s there were some not great tropes, but the writers looked at it from a critical lens and said ‘okay, how do we make this better and stay loyal to the source material?’ I personally think they struck the right balance. Love this funky little queer as fuck show.

They knew exactly what they were doing when they showed a woman predicting Rhaenyra's death, only to immediately cut of to a statue of a dragon throwing flames 💔💔💔

this episode gave me so much but the scene when viserys calls alicent to his chambers while rhaenyra is out there having fun...its like, alicent is being a "good" woman, dutiful, and subservant, yet she's miserable and hates all of it. rhaenyra is having fun, being free, exploring the streets and herself - yet she's later punished for it by having her reputation ruined while daemon just. kind of walks it off. so so so so much to think about.
