Song #232

Ace of Spades by Motörhead

It was the title track for that album released in 1980

Fun fact: In 2019, "Ace of Spades" was named the favorite poker-themed song in a survey of 1,000 customers of online poker site PokerStars. The song reportedly "not only won, but crushed" the other finalist, "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga.

Song #234

Keep The Faith by Bon Jovi

It was released in 1992 in their album Keep The Faith

Fun fact: The music video for the song was directed by Phil Joanouand shot both in black and white and colour. It combines scenes with whole band playing live on the stage and band members in New York City. Scenes in New York are mainly featuring Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora appearing in various parts of the city, but the whole band we can see only in the beginning and the end of the video.

Song #239

100 Bad Days by AJR

Released on January 29, 2019.

Fun Fact: The trio told Billboard: As a band, and as guys in their twenties, most of our experiences end in rejection, failure, and bad days. We wanted to write a realistic look at that… what doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger. But what doesn’t kill you always makes you more interesting.”

Song #224

Metal Guru by T. Rex

It was released in 1972 in their album The Slider

Fun fact:

Bolan himself described the song's apparent religious references as this:

Is a festival of life song. I relate 'Metal Guru' to all gods around. I believe in a god, but I have no religion. With 'Metal Guru', it's like someone special, it must be a godhead. I thought how god would be, he'd be all alone without a telephone. I don't answer the phone any more. I have codes where people ring me at certain times.

Song #226

Into The Great Wide Open by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

It was the title track of that album and released in 1990

Fun fact: The music video for the single, directed by Julien Temple, stars Johnny Depp as the protagonist, Eddie Rebel, as well as Gabrielle Anwar as Eddie's girlfriend and Faye Dunaway as his manager, and features cameos by Terence Trent D'Arby, Chynna Phillips, and Matt LeBlanc. The video was shot during the filming of Arizona Dream, in which both Depp and Dunaway starred, which was on hiatus as its director Emir Kusturica had suffered a nervous breakdown. The song was extended in order to include more of the 18 minutes of footage Temple had created.
