Fun fact: the lyrics act as a sequel to Bowie's hit "Space Oddity" which ends with Major Tom alone floating out in space. It also helped heighten guitarist Brian May's spirits, as he was going through a bout of depression from the intense scrutiny surrounding his first marriage and Freddie Mercury's health starting to falter as a result of AIDS.

FunFact: On March 29th Kaden MacKay posted the first verse of this song on his TikTok account along with the caption: “A little song about my fear of wasting time”. This short clip would go on to garner over 9 million views. The second verse was posted only a few days later on March 31st, garnering over 3 million views. Since then, many other TikTok users have created duets with MacKay’s original posts, either singing along with their own lyrics or simply harmonizing. Some would even go on to post interpretations, covers, and continuations of the song.

Fun fact: A real bullwhip was intended to be used for the whip effects and hours were spent trying to get it to crack. The band members ended up cut up and hurt without making any progress. Eventually, the band decided the whip effects would be created by whirling a 30-foot cord from the studio, then by firing a cap gun to create the crack of the whip (the sound effects are more prominent in the Quadraphonic mix of the album).
