If I was in an apocalyptic world where it was shit like world before rain except there is no lava and only few lakes and plants which would also mean most animals like deer, boar, cows, etc would mostly be dead and/or nearly extinct, I would use the ones that I've hunted and skin them to make leather and use their bones for other shit.
