I think Danny's ghostly wail should have more pain in them. Consider, instead of just a simple sonic attack, it's layered with pure agony.

Every time Danny uses his ghostly wail it drains him, but not only physically, mentally as well. Just consider this, Danny's death was painful, I think that would heavily project on Danny himself and his powers. Most considerably on his most powerful ghostly wail.

The wail is full of pain, it layers over and over the already ear-shattering sonic attack. It's screaming, it's crying, it's all the pain and agony Danny has experienced crumpled into a catapult and fired out of his throat with the power of a rocket. As for the people unfortunate enough to face this attack. It's experiencing death, it's the overwhelming voice of death flooding their senses, it's the fear, the pain, and the agony of the death of this child. It's what haunts them, it's the verbal incarnation of death that creeks in the corners, it's a reminder of agony, of pain, of the constant lurking of death that already damned this child and is coming for them.

And I'd like to think that with Ghost king Danny, his wail is the siren of agony of all ghosts. It's the pain and overwhelming call of death of all ghosts that are, or once were in the zone. Their king is their voice, their speaker of death, and their cries of how it once was, and how it now isn't.

y’know the fact that Danny started slowly freezing from the inside out due to not using his ice abilities enough does kinda imply that if Danny were to stop using any of his powers he might overload from the amount of energy contained within him.

…yeah now take that and apply it to a scenario where he’s blocked from using his powers, whether it be his own choice or an invention/piece of ghost hunting equipment or magic or whatever, and he can just feel the energy starting to grow under his skin.

he knows he’s running out of time when the glowing cracks/lichtenberg scars start appearing.

(he’ll probably survive the energy overload, halfa’s are durable and important to the overall Balance after all.

…The people around him might not.)
