I'm Ola, a graduate student from the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University . I'm dedicated and passionate about becoming a good researcher and teacher.

Unexpectedly, my life took a drastic turn transforming me from a passionate student into a person struggling for survival. 🥺

My family is in a perilous situation due to the harsh conditions and the famine we have endured for 11 months. We are facing immense challenges, So I have created a campaign to help me and my family rebuild our lives and meet our basic needs for food, drink, and other essentials in these harsh conditions. This will also help me continue my education. At this critical moment, I implore you to share my campaign with your network, both offline and on social media platforms. Hello Dear,  

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Tahseen from Gaza. I am writing to you, urgently pleading for your help. I appeal to your mercy and humanity to help us. Please don’t be surprised when I say that you, yourself, are my hope, the hope that can bring life back to me and my children. As you read this message, my family and I are hungry, thirsty, and terrified. We are homeless, depressed, and feeling hopeless. To be honest with you, I can endure famine, thirst, and homelessness, but I cannot bear the thought of watching my children die from starvation.  

I am a father of three children, striving alongside my wife to secure a decent life for them. After October 7th, our lives took a drastic turn with the onset of the cruel war on Gaza. Tragically, everything we owned was lost when our home and business were bombed and destroyed. We are now enduring a slow death, living a devastating life in Gaza.  

I am reaching out to you after exhausting all other options that could keep us alive. The basic needs of living and the harsh circumstances we are enduring have forced me to write this letter and extend a hand for help. I believe that your generosity and kindness can make a huge difference in our lives and give us the hope we so desperately need.

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. She has to take her insulin medication along with many others; however, she has run out of many of her medications.” Am on my knees requesting for donation. Target $450

As you can read above, the Al-Habil family are in desperate need of our help. They have only raised €255 as of my writing this. They are setting an initial short-term goal of €1,000 which will enable them to purchase a much needed new tent and food.

Going through some really tough times right now being terrified that any timing hiccup ('cus we ARE having them, despite our best efforts) on the very complicated US fiancé visa process will compromise my future with my partner forever.

At this point I don't even know if venting about how stressful this all is might hurt our case too (because access to my social media pages was requested, so that could be monitored) but I'm exhausted, sometimes it seems everything's already doomed from the get-go even if we're ticking all the boxes because of how confusing things get, and I needed to let out why I'm less active these days I guess.

Don't anyone ever give us the whole "haha yooo neat getting married for tax benefits" thing ever again. This process is costing us a fortune and we're putting tons down the line, and the uncertainty of it all is crushing. There's nothing practical about it. And still this is the only way we can ever be able to stay together permanently. We can't afford to fail yet sometimes it seems we have so little agency about it. It's hell.
