CW: Cookie Torture.

CW: Cookie torture.

Me: Ahh, a new subject for my private torture chamber. Hehehe, what fun! We shall begin with dismemberment, followed by disembowelment, followed by crushing you into little tiny pieces, and finally ending by drowning you in acid!

My Oreo:

Me: You're silence tells me everything. MUAHAHAHAAA!

My sister: *is bored and used to my weirdness* Stop playing with your food and just eat it so we can go.

Me: Fine. *proceeds to peel the cookies apart and remove the cream*

My sister: UGHHHHH

Anyone else get the feeling that Khan is possible withholding information? I think he knows a lot more.

He was there when the humans were still on that planet as one of the robots that were mistreated by them.

He was there when the core collapsed.

He was there when the murder drones appeared.

He witnessed whatever the heck was going on with his wife and I am starting to doubt whatever he told us in the pilot was the truth. Saying "oh yeah the murder drones got her with their acid tail and I had to put her out of her misery" is a lot easier to explain than whatever else was going on. I still think that maybe mercy killing was involved but for now I'm taking his words with a grain of salt.

Not to mention he kept Nori's "kooky insane stuff" so who's to say he didn't already try to make sense of it all before?

Apparently, judging by his "stay safe" Khan knew Uzi wasn't going on a regular camping trip, that's why they talked about it - Uzi wanted to investigate stuff and Khan let her.

And the lack of reaction regarding Uzi's absolute solver powers. Unless, of course, they talked about it off screen.

I hope you don’t mind me doing a separate post for that, this simply got too long for the comments. Character analyzes tend to carry me away. :'D

Anyway!

There is a big difference between an “attention hog” and someone who sticks to her orders just because they are afraid of the punishment that follows otherwise if they don’t.

I don’t get where the idea comes from that she is an “attention hog” just like I do not understand how the murder drones fandom keeps thinking that she is jealous of Tessa and N because nothing at this point indicates to that.

If she was an “attention hog” , J would have behaved a lot differently than she did. Riddle me that: How is she seeking to be the center of attention when she is quiet half of the time in that episode? How is she seeking attention when it’s Tessa who keeps approaching her first?

If she wanted to be the center of attention, J would act up more, attempting to get her attention more. Even when they are both chained up, J is doing her own thing. All she does is rocking back and forth quietly until Tessa adresses her directly. Something, if people pay attention is a pattern between them in that episode.

Back to the topic of J being jealous and N being Tessa‘s favorite that for whatever reason the fandom keeps insisting:

There was absolutely zero sign of any form of jealousy, nor that Tessa liked N the most or Tessa ignoring her in any way. If there was, the animators would have animated J‘s reaction more differently. All she does is standing there quietly, just like she did before.

Tessa screaming out “N!“ when she sees N, runs over to pick him up does not imply in any way that between J, V and Cyn he was the favorite. It just means that she was excited to see him, perhaps because Tessa didn’t expect for N to show up. Because the only reason why N ended up trying to attend the gala in the first place was because of Cyn. She could also just be really affectionate towards her robotic friends.

Despite what the fandom seems to think, J is not looking for every excuse to be mean to N. Half of her frustration with him comes from when he is being clumsy, does not pay attention or messes up in some way, questions things or does not follow protocol right.

You know why?

Because exactly that resulted to punishment in the mansion, no matter how small or harmless it was and it’s likely like that in the company as well. J learned from that. She literally does not know any better.

J is confident in herself and knows she can handle most. She ended up doing a monologue because she underistimated Uzi. Both V and J appear to take their time with killing their victims. They both play with their food.

I’m all for different interpretations of a character, but people really do not understand J as a character or have an entirely black and white view of her, which feels a little obvious in that response to me.

Because of the fandoms most beloved character, people treat her as more horrible than she actually is. Because they fail to understand that J has depth and is more complex. There is so much more to her than how she treats “sweet, innocent, baby boy”.
