an autumn-like breeze cooled down the summer afternoon, and with the sky barren of any clouds, it was easier for the sun rays to land on those familiar blond strands.

eren’s small hand—even though it was big enough to cover yours—wrapped around your wrist before it tugged you through the crowd. your rapid breaths were all you could hear while you mentally prayed to make it on time, just a couple more steps and you would be within reach, already staring at armin’s frightened face which caused your heart to jump. but what finally managed to send you in a state of despair was the sight of eren shoving the bigger kid away.

your eyes flutter open to find a blonde man in front of you. You jump a little, startled by the sudden presence of said blonde, you know him, you encountered him a long time ago. “W-what?” you ask, your voice weak yet not reflecting too much expressions. His lips curl up in a smile, he plops on the bed, sitting next to you.

“Finally, thought you would never wake up, haha”

“What does that mean? Where am I? And why am I with you?” you ask him, stoic yet again, his amused smile disappears a little, turning into a more nervous frown. Still, as smug as ever he continues to talk to you “you’re in your new home! With me!” he makes jazz hands.

“I’m in jail then?”

“Of course not!”

“But I’m a villian”

“I- I know but... I would be left with a bad taste in my mouth if I let you end up in jail”

You narrow your eyes a bit, confused about the winged man’s intentions. You avert your gaze, hugging your cuffed legs. “I don’t understand...” you mutter, you play with the ends of the soft cotton pants on your legs, sighing as the silence overcomes the room. Its awkward, but you don’t let it affect you, you’ve been through worse.

“What don’t you understand?” he finally says after about three minutes, he uses his wing to bring you closer to him, wrapping said part of his body alongside with his arm around you. You don’t really react except for a small flinch, his golden eyes travel to your serious face as you speak “why would you feel bad about me ending up in jail... or dead.”

“Because... please don’t take me for a creep because of this.”

You hum making eye contact with him, encouraging him to express his intentions further.

“I’ve been watching you for a while” he breaks eye contact “at first I was just keeping an eye on you since I was surprised a youngster like you was a villian... but then I... I started to care for you, you know?” 

“Why?”

“Because you’re interesting! I mean... you’re just- I know you’re not bad, you’re not attacking me, right?” he cups your cheek as he stares into your eyes “plus... you have a very pretty face” you can feel his hot breath against your lips “you just need a little love. Don’t you, dove?”

Your cold facade breaks under his touch, trembling as you fall limp against him. Like a spell, you let his hands roam around you, touching you in an innocent and loving way. “What do you want from me?” you ask him in a broken voice, holding on to him for dear life, pleading silently for him to not let go “I just want you, y/n”

“M-my body?”

“No no no, of course not, honey. Just you, I want you to trust me, and care for me like I care for you... I know you need a little time, baby, but I’ll wait until you decide to do it. I’ll wait for you to love me.” he whispers, wiping the tears off your face with his thumb and kissing the previous trails of such. “Is that okay with you, dove?”

Of course it was okay, your entire life had been waiting for this moment.
