Hold your fire!

What I really wanna see

is Tony seeing Peter having a near fatal miss with an alien and Tony having a complete-

-moment and just obliterating them. Not with his repulsors either, but up close and personal with those fucking shiv’s I’ve seen in the concept art. Can’t you just imagine Tony collapsing his helmet and as the camera steadily rolls back, Tony does the whole-

-thing and it all just gets rough and dirty for a few minutes until Tony runs both shivs through the aliens heart, then pulls back, letting the dead body fall, only to reveal a shocked and distraught Peter because this is the first death he’s witnessed since Uncle Ben.

What follows is a really difficult talk about sometimes having to do horrible things if one wants to protect the majority, even if it goes against everything one believes. Peter doesn’t want to believe it, but accepts it as the weight of this disaster finally sinks in.

And later in the film, the talk pays off. Tony is the one in trouble this time and Peter does what he has to do: he kills the enemy to protect his friend.

But Peter gets injured in the process.

“I’m sorry Tony! I’m sorry!”
