AU where Cas sees Dean’s dreams

I would like to point out that one of Deans traumas is watching Cas die thank you have a good night

Soooo earlier in the season we got Dean sitting on his bed, praying to Cas

looking for him on the other side of the room

looking at the bed

and a few episodes later, he’s laying on same bed

obviously only on one side

except that this time, there’s two nightstand tables and two lights, while in the first shot there was just one, placed on the side of the bed Dean uses

as if at some point between those shots, Dean thought someone else would be sharing his bed, and would need a nightstand, and a light

but now that person is not there, but still Dean doesn’t use the whole bed, and yet he turns on both lights, making the empty side even more obvious…

and now we get this:

and now tell me

who is not there, and that we know very well Dean wishes he was?
