you may not like aegon targaryen but tom glynn-carney loves him and knows him like the back of his hand. i applaud that tom finds away to bring him from the page even when the writers try their hardest to write aegon’s show version into the gutter. tom’s depiction at times may be less serious than aegon is in the book, but that’s because he’s dealing with a script that writes his character to be a bumbling idiot who can’t function without a glass in his hand.

it’s very apparent now that the show and the book are two separate universes, but i can say 100% tom’s knowledge of and attention to detail on his character does not go unnoticed. despite the hole they’ve written aegon into, tom never ceases to amaze me on screen — especially this new season — with just how much of book aegon he is trying to bring to life despite the clear image ryan condall is brewing in his writers room of evil and ill-intent when it comes to every single character in hotd.

This is my most hated change from the books, they removed one of the most interesting parts of the best character due to CGI budget and it fills me with rage. The second worst is the deleting of Nettles, an objectively bad decision that adds nothing to the story cause Rhaena is boring as hell.

she was riding dreamfyre since age eleven and only stopped due to her depression and grief. dreamfyre awoke, broke her chains, and roared so loudly that the entire dragonpit shook when she sensed that helaena jumped to her death. they LOVED each other﹠ this show is insane for ignoring their bond.
