Rewind Worldbuilding (Part 2 lmao)
LOCATIONS
Sunset (Northwest)
The most prosperous settlement in the Rewind world, renowned for its functional electricity, music, and classy design. Don't get too comfortable though, as some of the locals have a tendency to be rowdy. It can be found on a coastline somewhere on the outskirts of the ruined cities region, though is easy to spot due to its bright neon lights and lack of proper fortification. Despite its bright and vigorous exterior, it contains a prosperous black market for quite a while. It's the hometown of Error. The Rewind version of Sanaford.
Deepstone (West)
Before the recent creation of the miraculous factory town of Genesis City, the booming mining town of Deepstone was the kingpin of supplies. However, Genesis City quickly overpowered the likes of Deepstone through its innovation in supplying and products, and so Deepstone became a ghost town. Far below the small shacks and shops is miles upon miles of abandoned mineshafts, still filled with assorted barebones supplies. Despite being essentially a free town, many settlers believe the place is haunted by cryptids, and are scared off. Bandits and outlaw gangs are commonly seen using Deepstone as a temporary resting place.
LORE
Time (And "The Cleansing")
The current year is 1242 P.C. (post-cleanse), over a thousand recorded years after an apocalyptic event known only as "The Cleansing" nearly wiped out all sentient life in the Rewind world (or at least the continent and the few small areas that surround it). There is no recorded memory of anyone or anything dated before or during this point beyond the ruined cities and archaic battlefields.
The Helltides (The Ocean)
The ocean surrounding the Rewind world. Over the years, a countless number of boats and ships have attempted to explore the sea beyond the mainland (and its visible islands), with all of them never being heard from again. It's been bluntly given the name due to its eerie history and rough waves.
