Deputy Zahir and Sheriff Candor, human versions of Clan Advisor Zazin and Clan Leader Kandore

They both have a second job at the DMV because they’re like the only officials around qualified to give people licenses, but Candor also works at the local joint Pizza Hut/Taco Bell as a manager and as a pole dancer at local clubs at night (he keeps pairs of dress shoes and boots in his office just in case he forgets to switch out his gogo boots)

He’s been sheriff since pretty much right out of high school, and Zahir has been the sheriff’s right hand man since even before then with Candor’s dad, Cash, the previous sheriff

Cash was killed by a home intruder who was never apprehended, so Candor took up that mantle the soonest he could.

Their personalities… have not changed much from their Yautja counterparts. Candor is slightly nicer, but only JUST slightly. Though to be fair, you wouldn’t be so agreeable in a boring as fuck town full of weirdos where kids like keying your car, you have to let them drive you around and hope you don’t both die, a dentally-challenged family of survivalists (including local cannibal cryptid) stockpile military-grade weapons and set up traps in the woods, also freak out the locals by walking their guard alligator down the street and generally won’t bend to your will, and grown adults yell at you about things that aren’t illegal

Candor runs a tight ship but like, he can be casual about it. He likes to be smug or flippant because he simply is, but a step outta line that he doesn’t think is at least a little funny and he’ll be there to stop that shit

Zahir attempted to apprehend Byelobog after a sighting, but went missing for almost a day before returning emptyhanded and tight-lipped.
