Hi, Sorry For Bothering You, May I Ask You A Question? How Yautja From Bidha Dressing And Are They Visit

Hi, sorry for bothering you, may I ask you a question? How Yautja from Bidha dressing and are they visit the earth sometimes or not?

It's not a bother!

The Bid'ha don't usually wear as much 'clothing' as many other Yautja clans, especially their sister Clans (the Dakh and the Ki'dto), as their lives revolve around navigating the Datlokh river, and many of them opt to avoid too many leathers and cloths to keep from generating too much drag underwater. They wear the usual loincloths, some of them wear a close-fitting wrap around their tops, or around their arms and legs. Anything that has utility (pouches, knives, etc) are usually belted or fastened securely to them.

Despite that, though, they like to decorate themselves, wearing fangs, bones, shells, river rocks, etc, things that they find in the river and while fishing and hunting. They tie these into their hair, onto bracelets and anklets, necklaces, etc. They also hang them off of nets that they wear around their waists or off their shoulders, a cultural piece of clothing that Bid'ha Hunters usually utilize to show off smaller trophies.

(Tumblr won't let me post images in text posts for some reason, but you can see the nets a on this picture of Ahisde here, as well as here.)

There are similar nets used to hold their tendrils while they are underwater, as many Bid'ha tend to have longer tendrils. They are considered more attractive, as while underwater it resembles the long tentacles of an ancient beast that once lived in their rivers that they revere almost as a Demi-God. But long tendrils are not always great for hunting in water, thus the net bag.

(You can find a design by Isei here as well as glimpse it a little bit on Ahisde here)

As to whether they visit Earth...maybe! Many Bid'ha Hunters hunt Big Game--dangerous beasts and the like--but of course there are Hunters within their clan, although less common, that target more sentient prey. So you can have a Bid'ha hunter trying to hunt a giant squid or a cryptid of some sort on Earth, or even one that has decided to hunt humans.

can’t stop thinking about Stephen Graham Jones’ The Only Good Indians since I read it over new year’s. Just full to the brim with gorgeous horror/slasher imagery that I can’t get out of my head, so this piece is probably the first of several. :D
