Last Week I Was Chatting With One Of My Coworkers About The Restaurants In The Area And He Mentioned
last week i was chatting with one of my coworkers about the restaurants in the area and he mentioned there's a place with amazing churros that he orders lunch from sometimes and i kinda laughed and said i've never had a churro but i've always wanted to try one because they look so fantastically decadent and i kinda joked that it's on my bucket list because every time i walk by a place that sells churros i think i should buy one but then i don't
i just came back to my desk after feeling really frustrated by an instrument in the lab that broke and ruined my data for the day, and found a churro wrapped in tinfoil with a sticky note on it that said "bucket list: ☑️ churro" and i'm

One of my favourite questions for figuring out a character’s motivations is which qualities they most fear being assigned to them. Are they afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of being seen as stupid? Ungrateful? Weak? Incompetent? Lazy? Cowardly? Intimidating? Like they actually care? etc.
It’s such a fun way to explore into who they are, why they do what they do, what they don’t do out of fear, and how they might be affected by the events of the story. And I love when characters have negative motivations—trying to avoid something (in this case, being seen a particular way) as much as they’re trying to achieve a goal.

Haven’t collabed with @renconner in a long while for a mini comic (minus our big one, Instinct). We were talking about one of Stan’s lowest moments involving being outside with that damn sign, so we decided to make a comic with Stan remembering it. I’ve also kinda of assumed Filbrick would lie to Ford about what’s going on with Stan (Stan probably did too to some extent).

Real places that belongs in gothic fantasy:
The Sanded Church of Skagen

Over time sand from the nearby sea claimed this church. Here’s a drawing of what it looked like as it was slowly swallowed by nature.

The lower part is inaccessible but you can still get into the tower.

Inside where the roof to the lower part is still visible.

Backside where you can see where they eventually removed the part of the roof still visible over the sand.

laughing so hard I almost threw up just now because I'm working on my laptop at my friend's house in the kitchen while she paints a bedroom and I was extremely locked into my work and vocal stimming and then I sang two lines from "down once more" in phantom of the opera. specifically, "this face that condemns me to wallow in blood, has also denied me the joys of the flesh" but I didn't even really sing it so much as say it in a scary voice and my friend called from the other room, nervously, "you good out there?" and I was like "yeah? I was just singing phantom of the opera sorry" and she burst out laughing bc 30 minutes ago we were talking about how bad my cystic acne has gotten and she's never heard pahntom of the opera so she just thought I was saying that, alone in a room, like, as my own thoughts. About myself.
it must have been an extremely alarming 25 seconds for her.
