First post!! Yeah, time to win tumblr over!! Whoohoo!

As a third year, you had quite a burden on your shoulder. From worrying about which university you wanted to go to, to what you wanted to do in your future, it seemed as though you weren't sure about anything.
There was this thing that you really wanted to do but your parents were against it, however, you had managed to coax them into agreeing to, at least, let you give the exam. That is right, you wanted to join the Police Academy after your high-school graduation and for your further studies, you considered it to be a pretty good option.
The problem? Your parents weren't so fond about the idea and they certainly didn't like it when you flunked your college entrance exam.
You tried to explain it to them that you were busy preparing for something that you actually wanted to do, but they had dismissed it by saying that you simply were giving them excuses rather than owing up to your mistakes. But that wasn't the end of it, it became worse when your parents got to know how one of their colleagues' daughter passed the college enterance with flying colors. They had reprimanded you, asked you what you were doing.
At that point, you weren't sure what you were doing either. After getting all the snide comments from your parents, you weren't sure if you would be able to clear the exam that you were preparing for.
And hence there you sat in the library, working your pretty head off over formulaes and revision for the exam that you were supposed to be taking the next day.
The day started off fairly well, you going out of your house so that your parents don't make it their goal to direct all their attention on you, but sitting there in the library made you feel overwhelmed.
You looked at the clock,
6:49 P.M.
It read and you quite literally slammed your face against your book. Only 15 hours were left until your exam.
"Ugh, I still have so much to go through!" You whined silently, feeling frustrated at what life had thrown at you. "I wish I had one more day."
You wanted to scream, shout and curse at whoever was responsible for coming up with the idea of exam.
"How long have you been cooped up in here for?" You heard a familiar voice call out to you in concern, you were so busy lamenting that you didn't even hear him coming. You looked up from your book to see Keiji standing in front of you with a frown on his face.
You huffed at him, "Easy for you to say, you already know which university you need to go to."
"Don't you too?" He raised one of his eyebrows behind the glasses that he was wearing.
"I do, but this wasn't something I was studying for the past 3 years, was I? It was the college entrance exam and now I have suddenly changed tracks, I feel like I don't know anything." You said, "Ugh, I don't know what my parents are going to say once it's over."
He sighed as he bent down to be in your line of sight, "Don't think too much about it, you are going to do well. You have been studying hard for it."
"If studying for the exam you want to give just a month prior is something that you consider good, then sure." You protested. "Besides, my parents are going to quite literally disown me if I don't make it. My dad was spewing tales about his friend's daughter yesterday and how I could have at least tried to do better for my college entrance exam."
He hooked his finger under your chin and lifted up your drooping head so that he could look at you better, there were subtle dark circles underneath your eyes from studying so much.
It was clear to him that you had been sacrificing your sleep to catch up with the course. But to him, you looked really pretty, nonetheless. It was your determination that he admired the most in that moment.
He knew, it was a hard choice to give up something you had practised for three years just for the sake of your passion, it was risky but still you had done it and now that you were so close to your goal, he wasn't going to let your hopes go crashing down the roof.
"You know, someone told me that sometimes things are hard but it dosen't mean that they are impossible," He whispered softly, his finger still under your chin in case you decided to turn your face away from him.
"And even if your parents give up on you," he moved closer to you than he already was, his free hand going around you and resting on the Chair that was kept behind you, caging you between him and the chair.
"I will always be there for you," he whispered and if he hadn't been standing so close to you, you would have probably missed what he had said. "I will always beleive in you, always, and you might miss it the first time, but you need to be strong enough to get up and try again. And as long as you do that, you will never fail."
He could see the tears brimming in your eyes and a smile twitching on your face, the smile that he loved so much.
For a fact, Akashi keiji knew that you would always get what you wanted. You worked day and night to pursue your goals. Sometimes, you would fail and sometimes you would succed but he knew that you would always get back up again and do it all over again after you fail.
But pheraphs this time, you had been strong for too long without confinding in anyone. Pheraphs, it was the confirmation you needed to go after the things you wanted, and he would always be there to tell you how you are going to be okay.
It was in that moment when Akashi Keiji saw the small smile on your face, he decided that as long as he lives and as long as you would allow, he would make sure to always be there for you and to give you the push from him that you required. That was the least he thought he could do for you.
He bent down to gently press his lips against yours and you sighed into the kiss, your tense shoulders relaxed and your brain seemed to calm down a bit.
It reminded you how often he would be there to be your anchor, to make sure that you don't loose yourself and in that moment you knew that you loved him.
