The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had released and Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were doing all kinds of interviews- solo or together.

Both of them at two different location, all thanks to the Covid Pandemic, they both tried to make it as fun as possible. Presently, they had both appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and after the usual standard questions, Jimmy pulled something unusual question for Anthony Mackie.

"Anthony?" Jimmy started, "I understand that you are relatively new to the instagram world."

"Yeah man. I mean I am learning, figured out how to post and how to add something in the story the other day."

"Yeah from Sebastian's couch, right?"

"God! Not again!" Sebastian said while rubbing his hands on his face. "That's never going to go, is it?"

"No never! Not if I have something to say about it!" Anthony argued good-naturedly.

"You know I love your banter, but Anthony? Tell me? Have you explored instagram? You know like stalk anyone's profile? Like Sebastian's profile?"

This lead both Anthony and Sebastian laugh.

"Not much really, but I would love if you do it for me. I'll pay you." Anthony offered.

"And I'll hope you reject the offer because you are a nice guy, Jimmy and nice guys don't stalk people." Sebastian tried to persuade him.

"I'll stalk Sebastian for free. There are millions of fans out there who would love the hidden details of Sebastian life. Speaking of fans, do you know there is a 'Anthony Mackie Fan Club' page on instagram.

"Really? That's so dope."

"Yeah, and it has been started by non-other that yours truly Sebastian Stan."

"I knew you loved me Seaabass!" Anthony shouted. Sebastian could not help but laugh at the moment when the page was created.

"You got to tell me ore about it." Anthony asked excitedly.

"You know who is the co-founder of the page. You should read this, I have pulled up the bio of the page for you."

"So Sebastian? How did you come up with this idea? Tell us more about this."

"Well... Y/N and I are working in this new movie and the first day of shooting, we were casually talking about some of the work that we had done in the past, sharing some experience, to get to know each other, so that we are comfortable with each other, after all we were playing mad-in-love couples, and we came to a point were we were sharing some funny moments with our previous co-stars. I have worked with Mackie for sometime and Y/N and Mackie had done a movie together.... So once we started talking about him... We did not realize we spoke a lot about him, apparently he does a lot of things, and when the shot was ready, the AD kind of went like, "Hey, Anthony Mackie Fan Club? The shot is ready." We both found it funny and it kind of became a running joke amongst the crew... So we took inspiration from that and this came out..." Sebastian explained.

"Wow... I love it man... " Anthony replied feeling bit emotional. "That poster is great.... "

"Aww that's sweet... I mean if in future if Sebastian and Y/N get together, Anthony, you can always take the credit." Jimmy replied addressing the rumors floating around.

"I know right!! That will be so cool man."

"Thanks guys for coming on the show. It was great having you on the show as always and I sincerely hope that the Fan Club gains more followers each day." Jimmy signed off.

"I hope too. Thanks for having us Jimmy."

"Yeh.. Thanks man."

*After the interview*

Sebastian heard the ting of his phone notifying him that he had received a message. He picked up his phone and saw that he had a text from Anthony.

At least make sure you get the gal man...

Sebastian rolled his eyes, a soft smile appeared on his face as he replied.

i’m not one to usually talk about notes, but i hope people are aware that like/reblog difference ratio is insanely discouraging to a lot of people

RUMORS

Sebastian sighed loudly. Again. Someone made some comment about him seen with a woman. Again. They assumed that she was his secret girlfriend.

Sebastian stared at the picture. It was him and Y/N. Both standing together in front of a popular restaurant, laughing about something.

“Who is that?” Someone asked.

He looked up from his phone. Jessica Chastain was peeping over his shoulders looking at the image in his phone.

“A friend.” He replied.

“She doesn’t look like a friend. She looks like ‘the’ friend.” She told him, sitting by the chair next to him.

Sebastian rolled his eyes. Great! Now his co-stars too were talking.

“Man! I didn’t mean to upset you.” Jessica said seeing his frowning face.

“I am not upset. It’s just people need to stop spreading rumors. She is my best friend.”

“She can be more.”

Sebastian gave her a blank stare.

“Look. I understand this. I know these are just rumors. I just think that you both look great together.”

Sebastian blushed. He muttered an embarrassed ‘thank you’ and turned his attention back to the picture on his mobile screen.

“Hey!” Y/N said excitedly.

“Hey!” Sebastian replied back smiling like a Cheshire cat.

“What are yo- Oof! James!” Y/N got distracted from the video call.

Sebastian could see commotion behind her. She had lifted a young boy and was trying to adjust the camera.

“James! How is my favorite boy?” Sebastian exclaimed excitedly.

“Say Hi to Sebby.”  Y/N said waving James little hand in front of camera. The next few moments passes with James babbling to Sebastian.

“What is he doing here?” He asked followed by making a funny face.

“His dads have appointment with the baker for cake tasting.”

“Didn’t they go last week?”

“Oh! They did. Only they did not find ‘their taste’.” Y/N replied making air quotes.

“They do realize that the wedding is in a month. Right?”

“They do. Most of the things are done. Except cake. And my dress.”

“You realize that the wedding is in one month.” Sebastian teased.

“I do. Thank you very much for reminding me.” Y/N sassed back. She easily got distracted by her nephew who was trying to reach her face to get her attention.

“I think he is hungry.” Y/N said and started walking towards the kitchen, holding James on one hand and her phone on another.

“So? How is work? Shooting?” She asked him, as she placed James on the high chair and was in the process of heating his bottle.

Sebastian did not answer immediately. He was too busy staring at the woman in the phone, her soft hair that was all over her face, smelling like beachy coconut, a smell that he is all too familiar and started to love over years.

“Are you okay?” He heard her voice breaking his train of thoughts.

“Yeah… Yeah. Just thinking.”

“About?” She asked as she handed James his milk bottle.

“Those rumors.”

“Seb. We have talked about this. It is not your fault. Stop blaming yourself. And it’s not a big deal.”

“I know. I just hate all the teasing I have to endure.”

“Teasing?”

“Mackie. Jessica. And all others.” Sebastian replied blushing.

“Well. We both are very good looking people and it is good thing that people can see that.” Y/N replied bashfully making Sebastian laugh.

“We are indeed.” He agreed. Their conversation was interrupted by someone knocking Sebastian’s trailer.

“I have to go.”

“Okay. Bye. Take Care. Don’t worry. Everything will be fine.”  Y/N said.

“Bye. Love you both.” Sebastian said.

“We love you more.” Y/N said waving James’s tiny hands enthusiastically. He ended the call.

I do love you. Sebastian thought as he walked out of the trailer.

Made for Each Other (Part 2)

It has been one year since you joined Avengers. One year since you started to go on missions. One year since you had a place which you may or may not consider as your home. One year since you received some scientific information about yourself, which you could trust and digest. One year since you found out something that nearly gave you a heart attack.

You had a decent introduction with the team. At least with the ones who were in the compound. You said polite hello to everyone. Fury briefed about you. You never thought that anything would surprise Natasha Romanoff, but your career activities definitely did. Dr Banner had asked you questions regarding yourself along with the permission to carry out some tests. You did not mind and agreed to it.

“Guess that will be it. Captain Rogers and some of the others are on mission. I am sure Agent Romanoff will brief you about everything.” Fury shook your hands and bid adieu.

You had spent the first week getting familiar to the compound. You had fixed a training schedule with Clint and Natasha, while they also briefed you about Avenger’s current focus- Hydra. Now that the Thanos menace is over, it was unanimously decided to bring Hydra’s end. You completely agreed to it as most of your missions consisted in obtaining Intel on Hydra. You shared your inputs and information, which both the Agent thought were extremely useful.

You spent a day in lab with Dr Banner where he conducted many medical tests on you. When the results came, it was pretty clear that the genetic mutation in you was natural by birth and not induced by any experiments. Banner had also suggested that he will find a way to obtain your parent’s blood samples for tests. He also offered you to make a suit with the help of Wakandan technology which would enable you to shift without worrying about taking off or wearing cloths. You were grateful for all the efforts that he had taken.

You spent the rest of the time with others. Most of them simply wanted to watch you shift in to different things. Rhodey challenged you to shift into a dinosaur and much to his surprise you obliged. It gave Scott Lang a heart attack. Taking inspiration from Rhodey, Peter wondered if you could turn into dragon. In few minutes he got his answer that you could.

By the end of the week, the others returned from their respective missions. Message was already sent to them about the addition of new team member, a shape shifter, and they were excited to meet you. You were too looking forward to meeting them.

Bucky was tired. Tired to the point where he considered going back into the cryo. He was tired of fighting. Tired of bloodshed. Tired of feeling guilty about the things he did when he was not in control of himself. But he knew he has to keep going. For all the wrongs he did (even if Steve repeatedly told him that it was not his fault), he has to make sure that no one else has to live a life like he had. This was the only thought that kept him going.

After returning from the current mission, he rushed to his room as soon as quintjet landed on the compound, without bothering to say hello to anyone.

“Shower first.” He thought to himself.

After cleaning up, he fell on his bed. He felt the soreness of his body. He laid there wondering if he should sleep it off or he should go to find some food. The decision was made when Friday informed him that he was summoned by Steve for lunch with their new team member.

“Food it is then.”

As soon as he reached the kitchen, he saw that almost everyone had gathered. In the centre was a dark long haired girl, talking to Tony. As he neared them, he could hear Tony bombarding questions to the girl. Noticing Bucky, Tony nodded.

“That is Barnes. He is grumpy and he doesn’t like people. And Barnes, this is Ella. She is the shape shifter. So don’t go killing anyone you don’t know. We don’t want you to accidently kill her.” Tony said introducing him to the new girl. The girl gave him an up to down glance and gave him a quite smile.

“So I hear you are a shape shifter. I mean that sounds cool and all, but how good are you?” Tony asked her.

“What do you want me to shift into?” Ella asked. She had gotten used to such scepticism in the past week.

“Oh surprise me.”

Others had taken seats and were digging food, and watching Tony’s and Ella’s interaction. Bucky was curious. He waited for Ella to do her thing.

Tony gasped, which brought Bucky’s attention back at them. He was confused.

What am I supposed to see? Bucky thought to himself. He could see everyone staring at the new recruit.

“You… You look… Just like… How?” Tony muttered unable to finish his sentence.

Okay. I definitely don’t get it. What the hell is going on? Bucky looked for any changes around the room. There were none. He couldn’t exactly pinpoint what had changed.

“You look just like Tony. Every single feature exactly like him.”  Rhodey spoke.

Bucky could not wait anymore.

“What am I looking for?” He said quietly. His voice was so low that normally it would be missed in normal circumstances but in this situation it seemed like he was screaming at the top of his voice.

“What do you mean by ‘What am I looking for?’ Can’t you see?” Sam asked.

“No.” Bucky replied truthfully.

“NO! You cannot see Ella looking like an exact photocopy of Stark? Man, either your sight is really catching up with your age or there is something really wrong with you.”

Bucky didn’t say a word. From the glare he was receiving from Ella, he knew if he would confirm truth, it would not be good for him.

“Bucky? What do you mean by you cannot see?” Steve asked. Bucky could see everyone’s eyes on him.

“I cannot see the change. Ella looks exactly like she looked few minutes ago.”

“You are telling us that you cannot see Ella’s shapeshift?” Nat asked again.

“Yes! That is exactly what I said. She looks same to me.” Bucky said. He was getting annoyed now. Why are they not believing him?

“He is speaking truth.” Wanda announced.

“That’s not possible.” Ella finally spoke. She knew that this not possible. Everyone can see it. Everyone. There were no exceptions to her powers.

“Guess we will have to look into it.” Tony said.

Bucky was right about things going south. He did not like it. And from the looks of it neither did Ella.

Can you pass me that box?” Y/N asked Sebastian, who sat by the kitchen island, with a frowning face. She would have found it adorable, but as they were out of fresh argument, all she wanted to do was punch him.

Sebastian quietly pushed the boxes towards Y/N and continued to ignore her. He could not understand why she was not upset about the situation.

Y/N continued packing the cookies which she made for James. His dads had returned from their honeymoon, and they will soon arrive to take him home. She was going to miss her nephew, even if he lived closed by and she could visit him whenever she wanted. She still wanted to enjoy their last couple of hours together as much as she could, but unfortunately Sebastian was spoiling it for her.

As she finished packing she heard Sebastian clear his throat.

“Y/N, listen. Please.” Sebastian begged. Y/N turned around to face him and signaled him to continue.

“These rumors can be ruthless. Trust me. I have seen this before. Now one person is talking, then another one, then everyone. Some even bully. People can be really mean. I have seen people breaking down. Hell! There are times when it even upsets me.”

Y/N’s expression turned soft. She realized that Sebastian was worried about her and it warmed her heart. She walked up to him, placed her hand on his right cheek. Sebastian looked up, his eyes filled with worry.

“I know you are worried about me. And I am thankful that you care for me. But you have to understand. I am a grown up woman. I can look up for myself. “

Sebastian opened his mouth to argue, but he was immediately cut off by Y/N.

“And as far as rumors, negative comments and bullying are concern, you think I don’t know how that is? I am a divorced woman. People are hardly kind towards divorced women. If I can overcomecome that, then I am damn sure I can overcome this.”

Sebastian couldn’t argue anymore. He knew how difficult things were during the divorce process and afterwards. He had admired her strength and courage, how she had raised above all that bullshit and finally had what she wanted.

“Now can we move on?” Y/N asked softly as she realized that Sebastian was not going to argue anymore. Sebastian nodded.

“Good. Will you help me packing James’s stuffs? I am sure that Y/B/N must be on the way.”

Sebastian walked up to James’s room, promising himself that if things ever go out of hand he will be there standing by Y/N and protect her in any manner, even if it is the last thing he would do.

Tom was doing a radio interview for your upcoming movie- a family entertainment with a good amount of action sequence. After the normal introductions, the host had asked Tom to share something about the movie.

“Obviously, I can’t share much, but I can definitely try to tell you as much as I can. Um.. It’s a movie which focuses on the siblings- my character James and Y/N’s character Annie. They have both drifted apart due to a tragic loss in their past.. And and… something has happened to someone close to them, that would bring them together. They not only have to re-establish this… this broken bond between them also have to figure out the truth….

“That’s an interesting story… I am looking forward to watching the movie. Also, I believe it’s the first time that you will be working with Y/N? How was it working with her?”

“Yeah! It is my first time working with her! I am a fan of her works… I have watched everything that she has worked in… really admire her… And she was incredible to work with… Also, I am the oldest and I have 3 younger brothers… It was great to have her as my older sister… Yeah.. It was a great experience….” Tom replied excitedly.

“It also helps that she is hot….” The host has interrupted him.

“Wo… .wow man… beautiful, talented, hardworking and there are many different adjectives that you could have used to describe her….” Tom chastised the host, clearly upset with the way he had described Y/N.

The host, getting the hint, had changed the topic, but Tom had lost all interest in the interview. He replied all the answers very generically and soon the segment was wrapped.

“Are you okay?” Harry asked as soon as they left the studio, once they were out of everyone’s earshot.

“Not really.” Tom replied to his brother. “I didn’t like the way he was talking about Y/N. Wanted to punch him.”

Harry was silent. They walked out of the building towards the waiting car parked at the entrance.

“You did the right thing.” Harry replied once they got into the car. Tom felt much better after hearing his brother supporting him. Later, He had received many texts from family, friends and colleagues, appreciating him for standing up to the radio host against objectifying women-

Mom: I am proud of you. Love you. Take Care.

Dad: That’s how we Holland boys do!... Good Job kiddo…

Sam: Damn right dude…

Paddy: You should have punched him…

But the text that mattered the most was from Y/N-

Y/N: Try not to trip on your own shoes kid….

It was a thank you message… He knew it… Y/N knew it… and that was more than enough.
