That’s the ‘allure’ of cheating partly. I hesitate to say allure but I think you get what I mean. Even in Yunho’s case, the point isn’t to hurt the friend, he’s not even thinking of her. He’s thinking of y/n, the person he’s wanted since the beginning. The myriad of feelings he gets at that first opportunity alone despite literally being balls deep in the friend are so strong he does something unplanned. From then on he acts on feelings, using that confidence fueled by lust and attraction to do all the shit in the chapters.

I feel so bad for the unsuspecting person but it is fun to write this stuff. In this case, the friend could care less as long as she’s getting fucked but in general😂

I'm not saying cheating is okay, of course, but I like this thing, idk passion, attraction, lust, fate? They didn't planned this but it's something they didn't resist. Well, okay, they didn't really fight against it, but yeah, idk what will be happening in the final part, just saying, I really like this kind of fics

My thing about this is Just break up 🙂

As much as it is scary and painful what you said is true. But break up with the other person. I’m a angst bitch so I live for these kind of stories (and love writing them: ) but in reality PLEASE just break up. I like writing both sides because of the strong feelings you get from both that make interesting plots. I did want to express a lot of romantic and lustful feelings in this with the plot line but didn’t want it to be too angst like some of my others because the relationship he’s in had other stuff going on revealed in the finale that needed to be dealt with and broken off. Back to breaking up: Some people get some caught up in new happiness they don’t remember or care to end the original relationship but that’s some bullshit.

Or they don’t want to hurt the person supposedly but this is much worse.

There are tons of reasons people just continue to cheat(or turn into assholes) but just. break. up.

Oooohh I'm so excited! I think sometimes people are just falling in love, even if they are already in a relationship. It happens. I think I'm a romantic after all, because I just like this, such a powerful feeling.

I love doing non happy endings or at least ambiguous endings but for this I was really always going to end it happy, I’m sorry🥲

This doesn’t justify it but I wanted to clarify they’re not best friends. They’re work friends. I mentioned at the beginning of another chapter as well that they aren’t SUPER close but close enough to talk outside of work. The friend is the kind of person/ friend that is extroverted, can talk with anyone and talks/asks about personal stuff😂 it may sound weird to some people but if you’ve ever worked with that person, befriended that person or ARE that person, you know haha

For stories like this I always get conflicted reading because you want it to end happy but how could you be friends with the other person after? Unless they’re a shit person, those I’m like ok whatever but the cheating is crazy ya know

{TW: Blood and death mention I guess} I’d rather 🔪and bleed out in the street than do something to cause sadness to my best friend and the thought of her hating me gives me actual pain in my body. I’d rather fucking die.
