Chinese-American cuisine in the northeastern US is so different from Chinese-American cuisine in the rest of the US because of the large conglomerates of immigrants in the area. It is so unique that there are companies that ship specifically from northeastern US Chinese-American restaurants to the rest of the states.

what if i told you that a lot of “Americanized” versions of foods were actually the product of immigrant experiences and are not “bastardized versions”
