Hello! I Have A Question, Since In June We Are Doing Pride Colors And Other Prompts, Do You Happen To
hello! i have a question, since in june we are doing pride colors and other prompts, do you happen to know where i can find the HEX color code for the OG 8 stripes flag colors? i can only find the 6 stripes raimbow colors. thanks in advance
Not readily, no, I'm sorry! And I'm not a digital artist in such a way that I'm well versed in where to look.
But, the red through green stripes should all be the same as on the 6-stripe, and the wikipedia page for "Rainbow Flag" has some good clear digital images (not photos) showing the stripe colors, so that should at least be a solid starting point for reference?
Maybe someone else will know of a resource I don't.
Best of luck, and I look forward to seeing what you create!

This is ffrom MerMay around tumblr, not a specific fill for this blog, but I wanted to highlight this wonderful take on Deep Sea Mer!
Deep in the ocean, mermaids can take on extreme forms, divorcing themselves from human mimicry for the sake of survival.
The Gulper Eel Mermaid has jaws that take up the entire length of their torso, repurposing arms to support long, thin bones lined with tiny teeth. While the prevailing theory is that the large jaw allows them to consume prey many times their size, they have been known to open their mouth for a different purpose. By filling their baggy body with water, this mermaid swells up to an intimidating size. Other creatures think twice about tangling with what appears to be an immense predator of pure muscle.
Not much is known for certain, as these beings are reclusive; even from other mermaids. They're very sensitive, you see. Perhaps one day we will liaison with them and learn of their culture.
For now, they keep to the depths.
For May 2024, The Prompt Foundry is sticking with the classics and doing MerMay!
Hope everyone's excited to dive in!

Different colors mean different things to different people, but for many the association between rainbows and queer community and pride is undeniable. Let's take some time to explore these colors, what they've meant historically, and what they mean to each of us now!

Mermay night
Few of my mermaid characters whose appear in past Mermay 2024 stories return for this last Mermay story for a entry of @muzzlemouths day 31 night. I create these characters using the Tabletop Game Siren the Drowning, a fan made rpg set in the World of Darkness. I planned on doing @thepromptfoundry June event. Have a great summer, everyone.
As the sun set, Henry drive Ruqayyah to a gathering as he said to her, "You will be surprised at the number of fellow folks like us in this gathering."
A female college student with brown hair wearing a hoodie walk to Ruqayyah and said to her, "Hey, this is your first time here, right? I'm Petra." Petra then point to a older woman talking to a Korean woman, "Those two are Lydia and Seung." A Native American woman walk to Ruqayyah and introduced herself, "Greetings. My name is Uiara. I'm welcome you to this gathering." A Mexican American woman introduced herself to Ruqayyah, "I'm Paula. Nice to meet you."
Most of the people in the gathering jump in the water and their legs turn into fish tails of different fish species, such as Petra gathering the tail of a shark, Lydia gathering the tail of a bass, and Paula gathering the tail of a butterflyfish. Soon, all of the merfolks start swimming around in the lake under the cover of the night.
