Rite Of Spring - Day 6: Untimely Death
Rite of Spring - day 6: untimely death
entry for Bump in The Night by @thepromptfoundry :]
tw: implied murder.
1909
Juliet.
Spring is often symbolized with the birth of new life. The flowers bloom, the bluebirds sing their song, the newborn fawn is taking their first step through the meadow of a forest.
Spring is when you don’t expect anything to die in her wake, spring is when you expect new beginnings, new hope, with the scent of sweetgrass and the birdsong of tomorrow. When Juliet found herself awake, she did not smell the flowers, or heard the birdsong, or feel the sunshine on her skin. She found herself at the end of the staircase, the bloodstains on the steps as though someone was dripping something and it got on the staircase, the axe was at the bottom of the stairs like it was dropped hastily against the floor, matching the red stains.
Juliet blinked, and then, her eyes widened when she touched the deep gashes on her chest, like she was chopped like a piece of wood. The wounds, now staining her fingers. Her breathing grew shaky, even though there had no longer been any air in her lungs.
Not anymore.

OC-TOBER DAY 4 - IN THEIR YOUTH
@thepromptfoundry
CT-1646's youth was just like any other children's. Well, just like any other cadet's on Kamino. He knew the expectations and he exceeded them always just the little to make sure he wouldn't be next to disappear in the night. There was safety in numbers whether it was about sticking to his many brothers, aiming for 100% and a little more on his test results, and not choosing a name so he won't grab any unwanted attention.
A silent wish to disappear from prying eyes. Being a shadow, just whispered echo, barely a memory in everyone's mind.
Who is more perfect candidate for being an assassin?
