OC-tober Day 29: Kisser visiting a graveyard

Recently, I’ve been working on a Star Wars fic with a higher than usual number of OCs. The fic isn’t posted yet, but I thought I might put a few of these out there.

Inspired by my recent experience cleaning a historic cemetery.

Day 1

Kisser probably shouldn’t have this.

Scratch that, Kisser definitely shouldn’t have this.

It’s not even their real names, does it count?

But if it’s all that’s left, does it matter?

Kisser stares, chest aching, at the PADD in his hand.

It’s a simple spreadsheet, if egregiously long.

Serial Number. Batch Code. Date Decanted. Date Destroyed. Method of destruction.

Kisser makes some new columns. He doesn’t know how he can ever fill them all, but he thinks he has to at least try.

Rank (final). Name. Name meaning. Pronouns. Assignment(s). Armor (colors/designs). Stories.

He stares at it.

He starts to fill it out. For his batchmates. For everyone in his battalion whose numbers he ever knew. For shinies whose numbers were just about the only thing he knew.

Hours later, he uploads the file to an encrypted Vode-only server.

OC-tober Day 31: Kisser dressed up for Halloween

Recently, I’ve been working on a Star Wars fic with a higher than usual number of OCs. The fic isn’t posted yet, but I thought I might put a few of these out there.

So first of all Halloween is over when I say it is and second of all please assume Halloween has exactly the connotations in this ficlet as it does in our universe but it's still my Star Wars AU. I did really thought out worldbuilding all month, so I let myself have this one lol

Book tells him there’s something wrong with him, that his costume is too morbid.

Melt would think he’s the funniest motherfucker in the galaxy, he’s pretty sure.

General Kenobi is aghast–torn between laughter and mortification.

For Halloween, Kisser dresses up as a dust bunny.
