Hey Netizens! I'm Not Sure How Many People Are Aware, But Youtube's Been Slowly Rolling Out A New Anti-adblock

hey netizens! i'm not sure how many people are aware, but youtube's been slowly rolling out a new anti-adblock policy that can't be bypassed with the usual software like uBlock Origin and Pi-Hole out of the gate
BUT, if you're a uBlock Origin user (or use an adblocker with a similar cosmetics modifier), you can add these commands in the uBlock dashboard (under My Filters) to get rid of it!
youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.openPopupConfig.supportedPopups.adBlockMessageViewModel, false) youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.adBlocksFound, 0) youtube.com##+js(set, ytplayer.config.args.raw_player_response.adPlacements, []) youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.hasAllowedInstreamAd, true)

The even funnier thing is that Pixy and the Boss come to this worldview through two wildly different approaches.
The Boss’s worldview is widely optimistic, since she saw the world from space, and thus saw a world without boundaries as a world where soldiers didn’t have to fight and be used by their respective countries as a better world compared to the current one.
Meanwhile Pixy’s worldview is heavily pessimistic, with him being incredibly bitter at the way Ustio High Command has been mishandling the Belgian War, and with him being disgusted by the various atrocities on both sides of the war. He wants to blow the world back to the Stone Age because anything must be better than the current way of things.
I guess you could say they’re two sides of the same coin.
The objectively funniest part of mgs lore is the fact that the main catalyst for 90% of the events in the series is multiple different characters playing the worlds longest game of Chinese whispers with the boss’s will constantly misinterpreting it until the character who actually best understands what the boss wanted for the world isn’t even an mgs character, it’s pixy from ace combat zero.

This post is about Melanie in spirit so I drew it :)
Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.
