You know what trope I don't see enough of? A character that should be gothic, dark, stoic. A character with powers related to darkness and shadows, a character with long black hair that covers black eyes, characters with a tragic past that almost every character in media with a similar past are introverted goths, but they are not. Instead, they're the chaotic comic relief, with the big smile, who cheers everyone on, has way too much energy (bonus points if they never sleep. All that energy comes from a really bad coffee addiction), enjoys teasing everyone, and has more friends than you can count .
