Okayyy so... this one is different. And it's new and... I'm aware that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. And that's fine. But I'm posting it on AO3 anyway because A) I'm really proud of how the plot turned out and B) it's a snack to tide y'all over while dinner is cooking (dinner being Ice Walls 3, the real meal y'all are waiting for, I know)

I've actually been writing this one since March off-and-on as a "self-indulgence project" when I was getting sick of the Ice Walls universe and These Cyber City Walls so it's been a background thing the whole time. And me debating on eventually posting this is why I never considered a similar plotline for the Ice Walls universe
