i lost the motivation to work on this so.. might as well post it now :]

So the hermits are at the beach right, and they’re having a normal, wonderful beach day, playing and swimming and making sandcastles and the like, until Grian decides to get in the water after burying Scar in the sand while he naps. Once he is waist deep in the water, everyone hears a POOF! sound, and Grians just gone. Everyone panics, until a normal looking cod jumps out of the water and hits Impulse in the face. And then does it again to Pearl and Mumbo. This happens to many hermits until Beef finally is able to grab hold of it (with all his experience working with salmon) and looks into its black, cold, doll eyes. They look exactly like Grians eyes. He comes to the realisation that this cod, is in fact, Grian. (who forgot to tell everyone that he turns into a cod when he touches water) Mumbo threatens to cook him on a campfire for worrying everyone so much, and Grian just hits his face again and swims around everyone’s ankles, trying to make them fall down.

I do agree with this but all of the ships I like I'm able to enjoy plantonically. Some ppl just prefer romantic ships but at the same time fI eel it's good to also be able tot enjoy plantonic ships. I think something a lot of ppl forget is that ship stands for relationship. With could be siblings or friends, etc etc. Not just romantic relationships!

I occasionally am saddened by the amount of platonic friendships that can be erased with shipping in various fandoms- don't get me wrong, romance is great, but sometimes true platonic friendships are sort of dwarfed by making the blorbos kiss.
